Barkley possibly out for rematch with Giants

Idk how their QB will fair with teams going from a supreme respect for the running game to completely selling out on pressure

another rushing title in grasp of Zeke, only real competition is Cook but i dont trust him to stay healthy/

It sucks that a man has hurt himself but im fine with him not playing us again

Saquon makes my butt itch

I said last year the Giants were stupid to draft Barkley. He is a great player but the Giants needed a QB, LT, DE, LB and about 5 other positions in that draft. Now it looks like they found a QB who can get the ball down the field and Barkley becomes a less necessary piece of the puzzle. They won last week without Barkley.

Daniel Jones has played 1 NFL game. Its too early to tell if he is the guy to lead the Giants for the next 15 years. But its clear QB was the big missing piece. Eli has been looking at the pass rush for the last 5 years.

Feel bad for the kid

Feel bad for Tom (Giants fan)

Do not feel bad for the Giants team.
I always feel bad when a talented player goes down. Just done enough of them in the league to enjoy

They'd be pretty stupid to bring him back this year I think.

Really? High ankle sprains aren't serious enough to sit him the entire season. They should definitely bring him back when he is ready, which will probably be 5 to 6 weeks.

They are best to take the 8 weeks, make sure he is 100%, not just for this year, but for his career. But if he is cleared before, then that is the way it goes.
Other than the 59 yard run, our D held him in check. But those 60 yard runs still count. Need to fix that and contain him, or any other RB.

That's good for us. And also good is that he should be back in time to play the Eagles later in the year for two games as both Eagles-Giants games are in December.

A high ankle sprain can last all year. Who knows how he will heal, but those things can take months to fully heal, even if you can play before them.

But what purpose is there in bringing him back? Assuming there's a loss of strength in that leg, it opens the door to a number of other injuries that can be more serious. I'd be more concerned about that than having him come back to join a team that is like 2-6 and going nowhere.

Even if he does return against us, he will most likely be limited on the amount of carries he gets.
