I really believe this is the type of fighter who can finally dethrone Fedor. Strong wrestler to exploit Fedor's weak takedown defense, strong enough to keep Fedor on his back and terrific submission defense to halt Fedor's outstanding transitions.

I won't go as far to beat against Fedor, because, well, he is Fedor. However, I really believe Barnett will push Fedor like very few have.

Unfortunately for Affliction, this is the last big name fight they have. After this, watch this company tank.

The babyface assassin will go down. Fedor has beaten Kevin Randleman, who was a good wrestler at Ohio State and also Mark Coleman (another Ohio St wrestler). I would say they are pretty strong wrestlers. I don't think Fedor was a weak takedown defense.

Fedor will win. I really don't get all the hype around Barnett. I'm not overly impressed by him and I don't think he's got a very good shot against Fedor.

And neither have anywhere on the same continent with the ground game (i.e., submission defense) that Barnett has. Randleman and Coleman both have always had horrible submission defense.

Fedor has always had horrible takedown defense. It's always been his well known weakness in his extremely well rounded game. Well known fact for years.

However he does scramble well which offsets most of this.

But the thing is, Fedor has never faced a wrestler anywhere as big or as strong as Barnett. So how well will that work for him when someone as large as Barnett has him on his back?

speaking of Fedor's past opponents..what the hell happened to Andrei Arlovsky...dude got KO'd in the first minute of his fight against somebody Ive never heard of...this guy used to be really good and took it to Fedor for alittle bit till Fedor caught him

Finally! this fight should have happened ages ago in Pride, I like Barnett he's a really good fighter but this is Fedor lol, he'll get KO'd in the 1st
