Eagles no. They built their team the right way. Maybe not as many wins but still a strong Playoff team.

Giants yes. Some luck there last year and new Coach honeymoon is over. Hardest part is not the turnaround, it’s maintaining it.

Eagles yes because the team that wins the NFC East usually declines the next year

the Giants? they could actually improve and still end up missing the playoffs
Yeah NYG had a ridiculously easy schedule last year in a bad nfc. I totally agree they should be better as a team but do worse on the schedule

Well, the Eagles could get to the NFCCG and lose, that would be a drop-off. I picked the Giants to finish last in the division.

Maybe the Cowboys are better without Moore, maybe they aren't, time will tell. I was a Moore fan but for the Cowboys I can at lease see a path where they can improve on offense, mostly in consistency running the football and reducing turnovers. For Philly on both sides of the football I don't see a coordinator change having much upside as both units were already one of the best in the league, but two coordinator changes and several starters being replaced on defense opens them up to a possible step back at least on one side of the football. Again I think even with them being worst this year they'll still be extremely good and you can almost pencil them in for 10 wins, but it's extremely tough to duplicate a 14 win season with a super bowl appearance.
I think 100% MM is better calling plays.

I also think philly offense will be better with skill guys and hurts another year in system. Thier rbs are better they replaced.

I like what the Giants did again this year. The Eagles lost a few important pieces and a couple of others are getting to the age where performance starts to slip. I am reading Carter has been great in practice, but very few DTs make an impact in year 1. I see the Eagles slipping, the Giants being better.

Eagles are not going to decline, they only got better from a player perspective for the most part so not sure about that one.

Think the Eagles lost more then they gained.
Giants got better however will probably not translate to a better year win wise based on schedule
Vikings will be worse...Cousins basically drug that team into the playoffs as they had no reason to even have that record. Bottom tier defense and the OL while improved was just above average. Cant see them repeating that much luck winning close games

There isn't a lot of risk in predicting an Eagles decline when the only way for them to improve would be to win the Super Bowl.

As far as the Giants are concerned, eight #1 picks in the last five drafts with an emphasis on restocking their lines, meaningful contributions from some 3rd day picks, an improved season from their QB and the most dynamic RB playing today would suggest they could really improve.

If the Cowboys aren't prepared for game #1 they could be walking into an ambush. A couple of plays going the Giants way, participation from a Giants crowd and a sloppy Cowboys team willing to give them opportunities could inspire them to believe in themselves while handing a demoralizing blow to the Cowboys chances.

Barring major injuries…NFC East goes:

Eagles
Giants
Dallas
Wash

Dallas in 3rd is still very possibly a playoff team

I will gladly eat crow if I’m wrong…just how I see it.

Personally I think the Giants are going to be a very tough out plus Danny Dimes will surprise.

Delusional take. Dallas got better, the Giants won one division game and haven’t beat Dak in 6 years. Dallas is better everywhere except running back. Legit every position.

maybe for the long term but for the upcoming season they are more likely to decline then improve. Lost 7 starters in free agency and only the upgrade seems to be Swift over Sanders. No one else they brought in is better then the player they lost in free agency.

Giants I agree. Eagles? Maybe slightly, but even then they should still be one of the top NFC teams. If I was an Eagles fan, my biggest concern would be replacing Sanders with two good but injury prone HB's. But I dont see that as something that would knock them below 11 wins or so
I feel the Eagles will decline but it's still going to be a dogfight between us. If we are full strength and playing well and they are full strength and playing well it will come down to defense. That's where I give us the advantage. If the Eagles stay the same or decline slightly they're still going to be a force to reckon with. If we're healthy we'll be a force to reckon with. It'll be fun for sure.
