Barr not invited to New York

The NFL has a record 30 players that will attend the nfl draft. Usually they invite players with a good shot of being drafted in the 1st round. Some players turn it down as they prefer to be at home with family. The surprise to me is that Anthony Barr did not receive an invite. Just interesting.

I'd decline too if I was offered unless I knew I was a guaranteed top 5 pick. That's just me though. Rather be relaxing and enjoying it with friends and fam than with a bunch of cameras in my face, especially if you start to slide.

He got invited, everybody thought he was going in round 1. It all worked out for him, but definitely not an enjoyable moment.

Someone on twitter said he wasn't invited but now matt miller said that's not for sure. So who knows.

If he wasn't invited that does tell you he's not the top 15 type prospect in NFL eyes that some have projected.
