Barring any trades 3 positions are a must!

I'd say 4: DT, WR, CB, RB in that order of need. You could even put OL before RB if you believe it all starts up front.

Emmitt Smith would have never been as successful without his line. Nate, Larry, Eric, Mark and Mark. Not to mention he had Novacek and Moose.

People overrate Emmitt, imo. The only reason he got the rushing record was because that was winning in Jerry's mind. Great marketing of an overrated player.

If a Lamb or Parsons is there at any position, they should take them regardless of their position.

Bolster the line and the runs will come. The other thing is, most RBs develop faster than OL..so don't put the cart before the horse. You'll be developing offensive line while beating up your RB's durability like Zeke, although his decline was more self induced than anything.

We need big time players.
don't necessarily agree with the order but only because when you put it up against what is available in this draft. I would still be "ok" but we don't have a 4th round pick available, so are you REALLY willing to wait all the way into the 5th round for a RB???

Honestly, don't even bother if that is the case. We have 3rd rate RBs already in Davonte and Sanders (who I don't even think will make the team, Duece either). Jerry & co tried being cute last year waiting on a RB, then all of a sudden they were gone. a run will happen, and that will be atleast in the 4th if not in 2nd or 3rd round. Might as well try and hit on somewhere else.

Same goes for WR, after the first 4 or 5 best WRs, talent drops off greatly. We have our WR3s and WR4s scrubs in Tolbert, Brooks, Flourney...... so if you don't grab on with 1st or 2nd round pick, don't bother wasting valuable draft picks on more of the same.

You are right, OL take time to fully develop so yeah grab those guys in the 3rd day of the draft. get best available.

RB should be the #1 priority followed by WR. They can’t screw around and get the 5-6th best RB like they did at TE when the selected Schoonmaker. I’m super nervous about it because they tend to screw around and miss out a lot.

like they did last year....

WR-after the top 4, big drop-off.

RB-although a depth class, cannot wait to the 5th rd and hope a quality back is still available.

CB-who knows when Diggs returns, big hole in the slot. Good depth, but they need a corner who can play snaps year 1.

Would like to add a NT, LB, maybe edge, but with just 3 top 100 picks will be hard to address
I would put DT, specially someone who can play 1-tech ahead of CB.... without a good DL, CBs will get toasted regardless. have to have a DT that can stop the run and collapse the pocket up the middle. then even average CBs would look good.

Disagree about Emmitt, if anything he is underrated.

I don’t disagree it should be on the list but they only have 3 high picks, which position would you scarifice

What if they traded Tolbert to like the jags or dolphins for a 6th(?). Traded Jake Ferguson to the saints for a conditional 5th(4th if he makes a pro bowl or something).
Trade Micah to the raiders for 6 and their 2nd and their 1st and 2nd next year

6- Ashton jeanty rb

1st Tyler Warren -(he’s as good as any wr in this draft and will help the offense tremendously he’s 6’6” )

2nd - quashin judkins rb
2nd - emeke egbuka wr

Not sure how you can see holes DT/DE and not see them at WR or RB. 2 FA RBs signed were depth at best for a room with only Deuce as a returning vet. I agree we are probably not using a first, but I'm sure day-2 is possible.
Drafting a CB high is more about the future. We could be without both current CBs this time next season. Bland is an FA we may let walk ( too expensive ), and 2025 is the final year of any guaranteed money on Diggs's contract.

I definitely can see OLine as a strong possibility if Campbell or Membou falls to 12.
I see the holes everywhere. I was not the one that traded for a WR or a CB and added 2 FA RB's.

Some people here think because we brought in 11 RB's, we are going to sign 2 of them. Then what was the point of picking up 2 in FA?

I think we are meeting with 11 RB's because they are going to do what they did last year, they are going to wait and hope for a round with good value. Then we will be trying to trade up to the 4th for a RB or stuck waiting until the 5th.

GM Jethro can't read the t-leaves. The under valued RB position is shifting and Jerry will be late to the party once again.

All off season we have Coaches talking about getting more physical and the need to the run the ball. Don't be surprised if GM Jethro drafts all perimeter players in the top 3 rounds, and we will not be a more physical team and we will continue to struggle to run the ball.

If those are the positions we take in the first 3 rounds, it will simply be more flailing.

If we draft a WR(after trading for one), a CB(after trading for one) and a RB(after signing 2 in FA, then what was the point of our entire off season???

By doing that, you are admitting all of those moves were basically useless.

However, I will not be surprised if that is exactly what we end up doing.

Take the highest graded player at each pick. Let need factor in when there are more than one on the board at the pick. Do not let your current state of the roster *******ize your future and stock buying in the draft.
For sure. Exactly what I'm saying.
