One I don't think he will be starting all season or even the majority of the season and 2 if he does not show better play than he did I think Brewster will get the nob in place of him.

players and coaches have to be accountable

Not a lot of options there huh? I think Brewster if forced to play this year is Pettiti 2.0. Although that may be better than last night.

There just isn't many options there. I thought Young looked good in preseason but I mainly viewed him as depth for at least this year. While he may be physically lacking some, when I watched him I thought he played with a pretty good football IQ.

Look for a team with the worst record in the NFL, and look for a player so bad that even they don't even want him.

History shows that's probably the first place to start looking.

I'll take his penalties considering how much he was dominating the center of the line. In fact, outside of Barron I felt alright about our line last night.

The play of Holland could have been better, and I could do without Free's false start, but all in all the rest of the line played well. If anything that is why I'm not as angry about this loss as some, aside from Garrett's 5-6 bonehead play calls a game (which I have come to see as inevitable with him) the issues we saw were all correctable.

Phillips looked like he had cleaned up the penalties sitch towards the end of last year, I can't believe he won't kick the crap out of people to fix it again. If Barron starts next game, even if Columbo can't come back yet I will be very, very surprised by it.

Barron has always been a highly penalized player, but he had NEVER committed three holding penalties in one game until last night. In fact, he had two entire, 16-game SEASONS (2008 and 2006) when he didn't even have three holding penalties, and he had three in his first game for us.

We could've won with one holding penalty. We could have won with two holding penalties. But that third was the killer.
