I certainly didn't...i just thought it was funny that PFF thought he played well...lol
Yeah it’s just baffling.

An LVE tackle is also grabbing the ball carrier and being dragged for 2-3 yards. The guy has no strength.

There is most definitely a difference between self play and team play.
At the beginning of the season I thought we had a roster built around team play, but now at this point I am having doubts.

Yeah, Joseph really made a name for himself against the Packers.o_O
Joseph is so green still, I'm just glad he isn't locked up.
I saw Joseph being able to run with his man, but just too green to respond to the catch and react.
He has the speed, we have seen it, and the skill to stick with a receiver we have seen it.
With a little patience and playing time maybe we see Joseph start trusting his instincts and playing the ball.

And he is right. No names were called out specifically on the segment. BUT, diggs and browns names were thrown around a lot for not doing their “job”. Also Joseph got some praise because he made his way up through the ST unit. Therefore he had learned the necessary tackling skills to be a dog. I think there is something to be said about some of our players making business decisions costing games.

Church did the same thing.

UOTE="texbumthelife, post: 12290829, member: 11053"]Watching other teams LBs shoot gaps in run D and then watching ours sit back and wait tells me everything I need to know. The Cowboys biggest issues isn’t a need for massive DTs. It’s linebackers who are pluggers, not backers who sit and wait.[/QUOTE]
Congratulations, you just invented a new position, lineplugger.

Broaddus even said it yesterday. dallas has too many players on defense who are not doing what they’re supposed to. too many trying to play hero ball.

How is this even possible coming off of a bye week? This is generally when the team had time to get in a few good practices, everyone is connected and following the script. Im not questioning what Broaddus is saying here, it's just alarming that it's happening.

Defensive players get paid by how many sacks or interceptions they get. Stopping the run or breaking up a pass will not get you paid. Playing in Dallas is about selling your brand. This is why it's been 27 years and more than likely will be another 27 years if the Jones still own this franchise.

Perhaps this was Parsons's motivation for speaking out / calling out his D. He knows what's going on out there.........D-linemen are more worried about sacks than tackling, same with secondary, looking for more splash plays/interceptions than tackling.

No HC will ever be able to change this culture with tweedle dee and tweedle dumb owning the team.

There is no chance they ever do what they did when Jimmy Johnson was HC. He ran everything, made all the decisions and more importantly demanded accountability from the players. They all knew if they defied him they were gone.

That is not the case any more and hasn't been since the day Jimmy left the building.

It's fine for him to speak up as he is supposedly the leader of the defense, but he is also one of the ones who was a problem Sunday too.

He did not have a good game, or even an average game by his standards. He is probably hurt more than they are letting on, but this isn't the first time this year where his play vs the run has been mediocre to poor either.

I'd like our DBs to be more aggressive against the run, but we do need them to be cover guys first. Joseph can't cover a mason jar.
:hammer:

yup where are the DL, LBs, and Safety's in the run game that is their job #1 , a DB job #2 to come up in run support, BTW these guys are younger and more raw, got a lot to think about with Brown and Lewis out.

Where was/is the accountability?
Thought these players were better than this?

This team is always and always has been soft. It’s like the 49ers game. Hit them in the mouth and they’ll back down.

I say this almost every year. Its why we do not win in the later months when it gets cold.

This is laughable!
Every player is making a business decision!
So would I and so would you !

when you have a qb making bank ad and underperforming
Would you not be making a business decision too ?
With that said , there is no loyalty in this team due to overpaid non performance!
More equal pay and performance pay /incentive you’ll see what I mean !
Hope that some since !
