they asked him about that holding penalty and he said you just don't call that at that time in the game. he said ask brian Russell how he felt when mike jordan pushed off him to hit that game winner in the finals. he also said how the nfl wants the pats to win because it makes them more money. thoughts?

All I Know is that ref was on some b.s. You could see on TV clearly he was starting **** tryna be a badass. And if was Scott said was true about him going over to him earlier in the game before the confrontations began and the ref getting all defensive when he told him one of the Pats recievers was digging his body into him.

Im sick of these ESPN bums constantly talking about the Boller pick, Reed pick fumble and 4th and 1 timeout as if that had any affect on why the Ravens are mad at the officials.

There needs to be some accountability on referees and the league shouldn't just FINE any player or coach who raises some observations.

He sounds like such a pathetic loser. Did he have a problem when Welker was literally tackled coming out of his break on the Ed Reed interception? Did he have a problem on the obvious offensive pass interference on the last play of the game that almost went for a game winning Baltimore TD. How come the refs didn't "fix" those calls. Generally both sides have bad calls against them through the course of the game, you know which side always complain? Losers.

The moron cost his team 30 yards in stupid personal foul penalties yardage when his team was only down by 3 with :44 seconds left. The game ended on the 2 yard line. If he wants to blame someone for a loss, look in the mirror. Gawd, when did this country turn into such a culture of babies and pathetic whiners.

I think, in a lot of cases, the players take on the persona of their coach.

Brian Billick is a mouthy complainer who breathes arrogance.

When you watch his team, you see a bunch of guys who run their mouths and stomp around and beat their chests. While Billick is an intellectual bully, his players take it and transform it to a physical form.

Sounds like they came up against the referee version of themselves.

Refs are held accountable. It's just very rare when it's made public.

I couldn't agree more. When I saw Ed Reed just laying in the middle of the field showing up his coach after the called timeout, there wasn't a doubt in my mind the Ravens were going to lose.

well how many times do you see a team have to stop another on 4th and 1 twice?

I can think of one, and they were successful, but I am trying to repress it. :banghead:

Its says a lot about the state of officiating in the NFL when just about everyone is saying" There are always bad calls on both sides".

I agree with yur points about costing the team yards. But I bet you all the money in the world, if that last catch would of been in the endzone for a TD, there is NO doubt in my mind, that the ref(s) would of called PI..... No harm, no foul...

Its not like the Ravens ever had any penalty issues going into this game..... #2 in NFL

Its not the refs fault Boller threw that terrible pick

Its not the refs fault a DC called a bone headed TO

Its not the refs fault Ed Reed makes that interception than fumbles it away.

Its not the refs fault that Ravens let Brady run for a first down on 4th and long.

Its not the refs fault the Pats punched it in to win the game.

Damn staright we never get any big PI calls from the bastid refs! Wait, last game - Never mind.

Scoreboard says it all and 12-0 is 12-0. Believe only SIX teams have ever done that. Wake up - its not all the officials.

Ravens fans are a bunch of whiny girls and the Pat hate is a thing of beauty to watch, and funny part is the haters are fueling them up!

Everyone hates the "America's Team". We should know that fire drill......

Your non-stop defense of NE is sickening, why don't you just admit yiou are a patsie's fan. In every patsies thread, you have posted nothing but defense of them. Hell, even if it wasn't anything about patsies, you'd interject patsies into it just like other troll, pats fan.

Minus the Romo avatar he is Pro-Patriots.

Ravens are classless no doubt, but it doesn't change the fact that the refs shouldn't decide a game on a 4th down play unless it clearly affects the play. That contact did not prevent Watson from catching that ball.
Let the players decide it, for crying out loud! It was a ticky tack call that decided the game.

We had all the drama of a 4th down play--the Pats' unbeaten season riding on the outcome and then a zebra has to make himself bigger than the game! Ridiculous!

Refute any of my points above. I am a Dallas fan back to 1971.

Pats haters like you are the ones going loco - lol - just calling a spade a spade. I am not making wanton labels and rogue accusations as you have.
