Seems to me we're starting and keeping him in the game here to showcase him for a possible trade.

Do you think he's improved his value with this performance, or hurt it?

I think he's raised his stock.....but that isn't saying too much. He has looked better though.

I'd say his stock is raised but he isn't gonna be traded. I think he is a PS guy for us even if we do add Chris Simms. Come next year we'll need him as a 3rd again when BJ is gone.

Bartell has some Machanics issues. He is not ready to be a Backup even right now. He has leftwitch type windup sometimes seems like. He needs to work on that if he sticks around.

On Decision side, he might be ok for now, but needs more time there too obviously.

If by 'stock' you mean 'chances of getting cut,' then yeah, his stock is soaring high right now.

Tonight probably was just a test to see if he was worth keeping on the practice squad.

Yep, thats all it can be. And hope, some team is not stupid enough to put him on active roster, since he definetly is not ready to be 3rd string yet either.

Not that he was bad, just that he definetly can't start in NFL this year under any circumstances.

With 3 wide receivers out - there will be no #3 QB and may cost us dearly at CB.

Hard to say since he was being chased around all night long. We have a really nice starting line, but no depth at all.

Im not so sure about that. We will have to see how the front office handles our lil WR problem. We might just tough it out.

Bartel was bad but from what I saw Free was continuously beaten and Bartel had to run for his life.
Free was beaten bad constantly ... but Robison is a freak of nature (better Combine numbers than Ware I believe). He should be in for a nice year.

That explains a lot. It looked as though there were several plays he went by untouched.

Robison was getting ridiculous jumps. Almost Ware-like in that he was damn near offsides. Lots of people wanted that guy here.

Bartel played pretty good those first 2 drives but after that, he was pretty much dead man walking. I mean, could NO ONE BLOCK tonight? Damn. He had pressure in his face almost EVERY play in the 2nd half.
