Baseball cap cleaning/restoration

Anyone know of any good services I can send a baseball cap off to?

My emmitt smith lightning bolt cowboys hat is dirty, esp the white lightning bolts near the brim and I'd like to get it professionally cleaned.

I use one of these holders. First, spray SHOUT stain remover all over and let it soak a while. Then run it through the dishwasher. Once that is finished let it sit for a day until completely dry. Good to go!

I don't know a thing about getting a ball cap professionally cleaned however.

I simply cannot just pitch my 25 year old emmitt smith cap in the dishwasher and hope it works out lol.

I have washed many caps, probably approaching 75 or so, and not once was one damaged. Just put it on top rack, upside down with a small amount of mild soap. Let it air dry for awhile afterwards.

I have never heard of a cap getting professionally cleaned but if you find one.........I would bet good money that they clean it the way I do, or very similar to anyways

I have never used one. I would just wear it when it was close to dry to regain the mold/shape.

You never mentioned it but if Emmitt signed the cap.....ignore everything I said as it would erase or fade the sig.
