If the Cowboys take a corner (Surtain, Farley, Horn) 10th overall or trade down a few spots to pick up a 3rd rounder or something & still get one of those guys here’s something to consider.

44th pick is worth 460 pts
75th pick is worth 215 pts
99th pick is worth 104 pts

Package those 3 together and they’re worth the 21st or 22nd pick in the first round. If the Ravens or Colts are willing to make a deal I’d make that trade and get Moehrig if he’s still on the board. Or you could take Pitts 10th overall if he’s there and maybe Horn or Farley 21st or 22nd if one is there. Farley may fall due to the surgery.

Were not starting 2 rookies in the secondary this year. Yall gotta give it up

What does it matter if we are starting 2 rookies in the secondary or 1 in the secondary and 1 somewhere else on defense? If this team doesn't draft 2 defensive starters with 10 and 44, they failed miserably

Sorry but I'm not trading away my next 3 early picks to get him at 21. Not in a draft that is deep but not top heavy. We will need to add at least one player from that draft range.
I'd possibly give up 44, 99 and 138 to get to 29-31 and take him there if available.
Otherwise I'm probably be shooting for Grant at 44. And if I don't think he can get there, than I'd try to move up. But not until around mid 30's for something like picks 44, 115 and 178.

I have no issue packaging picks to move up (some) to get a coveted player but like others have said
takes too many resources to move that far
Moehrig isn't a player I would target in the first
lot of value between say pick 25 & 70. take as many shots as you can in that range.

There's no player in the 20s who is going to be worth all 3 of those picks.

If they're going to move up, it will likely be 44 and then the 2nd-round pick next year.

I would rather trade down and pick up another 2nd. I realize they have to trade pretty far down, but getting another 2nd can net them Moehrig and Stokes or Tyson. Then in the 3rd they can shore up the OL. They have a lot of holes to fill.

Pick 99 and 44 would get us atop of rd 2.

Pick 44 and 75 would get us a late 1st rd pick
