ohhh man

well, I like the 5th and 6th rounds.

Put Conner back in at round 2, get rid of that King and Casey pick and your doing alright.

James Casey is a TE however, I wouldn't mind us drafting him at all he does everything on the offensive end. He's just witten + he can run. Nice mock one of the better ones IMO.

Thanks! I know that Casey is projected to TE in the pros, but he really does not have a defined position. At 6'3 and just under 250, he is more suited to the H-Back or FB role. He would be a dangerous threat out of the backfield & he is dedicated enough & tough enough to lead block.

I was really torn between taking Chung in the 2nd, or Alex Mack. I actually like Mack better, but I don't see many options in the 6th for a S that could contribute immediately. Even Sammie Lee Hill may not be available that far into the draft (whom I also like).

Casey would never see the field, whats the point? Not saying I don't like him, but what a waste of a pick.

TE-He's not going to see action over Witten and Bennett
FB-Ok, he might get a handful of plays a game but how often does Dallas utilize the FB?
RB-No room

Love Barwin too, but gotta be realistic, its unlikely he slips that far. I love King & Casey, super productive & their intangibles are even greater. Only size and/or inexperience "limit" these overachievers.

I like the overachievers, especially the talented ones. Sprinkle a lot of nasty in there, and you get pet cats.

Kick Casey for Deon it's an instant upgrade in blocking running and another receiver threat. He will line up anywhere on the offense. I think we will be using more 3 TE sets anyway Curtis is trash and so is Anderson. He is two positions in one definitely worth Oh my god if we draft this guy you will see. Just imagine two Jason wittens. One playing FB and the other playing TE. He can also throw the ball...

Actually, Dallas utilizes the H-Back a ton. FB might get used more if the position was more efficient, especially if Dallas is going to focus more on the running game next season.

Getting rid of Deon Anderson for a playmaker is reason enough for me.

My Revised MockDraft- with this weeks developments:
Rnds
2 - Ron Brace - BOST.COLL - DT -6'3 1/2 333 , IF Brace is gone Sean Smith -UT - CB/S - 6'3 210
3 - Brian Robiske - OU - WR - 6'2 210
4 - Jason Watkins - Fla - OT - 6'5 313
4 - Morty Ivy - WV - 6'2 240 - ILB
5 - Demetrius Byrd - LSU - 6'0 200 WR 4.4 SPEED
5 - Curtis Taylor - LSU - S - 6'2 210
6 - If Brace is gone Antonio Dixon - MIAMI -DT - 6'3 326 IF WE GET BRACE THEN:
Ray Feing - BYU - 6'4 337 -G -
7 - Zach Follet - CAL - 6'1 231- OLB - MOVE TO ILB AND ST PLAYER
7 - Jorrosko Lane - Texas A&M - 6'0 295 - FB
This gives us everything we need i changed the thinking of Qb after we get a viable BU.
Sean Smith is a CB/S HYBRID WHO IS A JUNIOR AND BY NEXTY YEAR SO WATCH OUT!
I WANT Brace but im not sure he 's there in the third neither will Smith,it's one or the other.
The lb's gives us depth we need and Watkins could be Flo's replacement ROBOISKE WAS SOLID AT THE COMBINE AND WOULD BE A STEAL THIRD RD.
I say let's roll with Olshansky, Hatcher and Bowen and we have a athletic 295lb in Marcus Dixon on the PS.
Taylor gives us size at the S spot. I would possibly pick Ray Feing in he fifth because Taylor would probBLY BE THERE IN THE 6TH. I also think with these extra picks move up higher in the second to get Brace or Sean Smith because they are Dallas primary needs....S and big willie mamoth(as NATE NEWTON SAYS)DT in the middle. Then you could possibly have the luxury of moving RATLIFF AROUND?

There are two players I want nothing to do with and you managed to find both of them.

Also, NO WAY Follet makes it to the 7th round

Casey has spectacular hands & very nice body control, especially for his size, but his 4.74 makes him a tad slow for WR. His body type & physicality make him a natch for H-Back/FB.

I agree with Follett, but he can be picked higher? My fourth to seven will be determined by who gets picked where? Who are the guys?

I would love to take Follett in the 7th, but I agree with Bob, not going to happen. The kid literally explodes into offensive players, with cataclysmic results.

One of my favorite players in the draft for that reason.

Also not a big fan of Brace. Don't think he replaces Rat at NT. And no need to slide Rat to DE with both Spears & Olshansky there.

Gunna be honest...I don't like it all. Picking Chung is going to be a huge mistake. I can already see some of you complaining about how poorly he is in coverage. Just isn't worth it. NEXT!.

I agreed about Follett, but your 4 to 7 can change completely depending on previous picks. I don't want him completly replacing? I am saying this gives us flexibility. So what is it you don't like about Brace. Olshansky,of what i have heard is better run stopper so my thinking is in pass situations mix it up? I am sorry guys we need a big body in the middle, I love Rat, but eventually he will brake down, because he is naturally to small,it's inevitable.

LOL. Of course you would, not that your avatar has any bearing on your preference or anything. Actually, I am a little hesitant about Chung myself, but he is a very safe choice. The safer choice would be Alex Mack, who I like a little better_who not only has great leadership, technique, work ethic and other top notch intangibles but he's also versatile enough to play at any of the interior line positions.

Why would you pick a OT with the second round pick? I like the DE's but three of them? We have pressing needs at saftey and corner, let alone on the dl. I am with getting depth at Ol ,but not before i am getting a Dl or S. Ol in the third or fourth.
