Battle for WR 3

I give the edge to Tolbert for now. He has been improving each year.
Turpin will get his snaps as well. Mingo will need a very strong TC to take the #3 spot.
Don’t rule out Campbell as well. He is a wild card and could surprise. At least to be WR #6.
Brooks may be the odd man out for now.

I don’t think the Cowboys will have a traditional number 3. Tolbert, Mingo, and Turpin will all play in certain situations. Plus I expect Schoonmaker as the second tight end in certain formations because Dak excels in double tight end formations. This offense will be different from McCarthy’s west coast.

As stated in another thread Turpin ain’t going nowhere, so it’s minus one.

Tolbert took a big step forward last season.

He did and he might even be ready for the #2 spot should Pickens not re-sign here.
