...in reference to the Cowboys' victory over the Vikings on whatever ESPN show that is that he does with Stephen A. Smith. He cites a lack of running game as the reason.

Can we please stop with the Skip Bayless threads. I've seen way too many in the past few weeks. The guy is nothing but a shock jock. who doesn't believe most of the things he says.

Is this a shock factor type comment?

I would normally agree in that Skip says things just to get a reaction but his approach lately has been less about looking for a reaction and more about saying how he feels.

A lot of people believe this. I don't know why I care what anyone else says but myself. Who cares what Skip says? No offense to the OP.

Yeah OK, I was Bayless who said it. But what about the substance of what he said? No running game = no division championship. What do people think about that?

I see no reason why they can't seal the deal as is. They've gotten this far. Still, this is Dallas we're talking about.

Everything Skip does/says is to get a reaction. I never believe anything that comes out of that clowns mouth.

I can see Dallas winning this division but also can see this division going down to the wire as well.

I also agree with Skip about the lack of a running game will not get us very far as a football team but I've felt that way since Felix Jones was stinking up our backfield.

I get the feeling that if any of the other three NFC East teams had a 1 game lead, running game or no, media types could see them as the clear cut favorite, especially with a 3-0 record so far. It's just hard to give Dallas credit, Dallas fans included.

Agreed. And nothing more to say here.

lol stephen a said both teams finish 9-7 with the Commanders winning the tie breaker. cowboys already have a very good 5-1 record in the NFC vs the Commanders 1-4 in the NFC, so I'm sure that'll go in our favor.

now look at head to head in division. cowboys are 3-0, Commanders are 0-2. if we split and win out against every else it goes 5-1 us, and 4-2 them.

how do these guys get paid to say such simple minded things?

I'm not even convinced that we are going to win the division, but judging by the fact that we have already beaten everyone else in the division, I think you would have to say we are the clear cut team right now.

I don't understand. We are 3-0 against the division and lead by two games through the first half of the season. How exactly clear cut does it need to be?

I think I have heard this somewhere else before, now that's see, yes that's it, saw this before in the thread "how can anyone defend these coaches". Yes I am sure of it , that's where it was briefly mentioned.;)
