How do people still fall for these type of talk shows? I mean seriously, it has to be casual fans, there's no way you can be hardcore fan and think Stephen A. Smith, Skip, and so on are serious
You're right, it's pretty simple, yet genius what they've done. They've created the perfect TV drama where no matter what happens people want to tune in to see these guys either gloat or eat crow week after week. It's the perfect set up as it's the Dallas Cowboys so there are no middle of the road results....it's either the narrative that they're going to the super bowl or everyone on the team is garbage so you keep fans swinging from one extreme to the other. What I can't believe is how many shows have copied the exact formula and are all still getting massive numbers. Now that everyone else has it figured out Skip has even doubled down on it by bringing in Michael Irvin for his show so it's double the Dallas drama.

After the 49ers this clown said he has no faith in Dak Prescott and he should get benched for Trey Lance

Skip is an idiot and probably doesn't even write his own takes. He also believes nothing he says because he contradicts himself every day.
He is unwatchable like Stephen A.

I just can't believe the masses like this type of sports journalism. Someone must be watching them on a regular basis to get them the viewership they claim.

Unwatchable.

There's more of a parallel to the 1970 team that lost Super Bowl V to the Colts. That season, the Cowboys lost to the Vikings 54-13, and then bottomed out on MNF against the Cardinals in Dallas, losing 38-0. After the Cardinal loss, they didn't lose another game until the Super Bowl.

Skip looks constipated there. Hate to break it to him but after starting out 4 and 3, the 1971 team NEVER lost another game that season. Many big reasons why: Murchison knew what he didnt know. The team had a HOF coach and I believe 8 to 10 HOFers on the roster. This team has abso had made many deep playoff runs including a heart breaking loss in the previous SB. I dont see one similarity Skippy

The only parallel is the same team name…Dallas Cowboys.
Heck they don’t even play in the same city as back then.

They only won SB’s while in Irving. Not even one in Dallas.

They were creating the first Doomsday Defense. This defense still finding its way.
