Bayless is an idiot. Fox article

I have a love hate relationship with Bayless, but this is where people say he's playing to ratings. Just stupid, and BTW, he was wrong about what Jerry would do all year long with regards to Romo.
 
He's turning into a click-bait guy, like the rest of the media. I used to think he was actually stating his opinion on a lot of Cowboy-related topics, but now he's so ingrained in the "homer" role, that he has to say outrageous things to boost ratings.

He doesn't, for even one second, believe that. It's ridiculous.

Mine is a little different. Mine is more of a "Hate that Fool" type deal.
 
The article feeds into my paranoia about cloning.

There are members here who have said the same thing in more or less words as Bayless.

I skimmed through this article trying to hit the highlights, which there were none, all the while kicking myself for even giving Skippy another unworthy click. Yep. I got sucked.

jwooten15 is right. Skip himself doesn't believe this, but heck, he needs the ratings.

Cowboys will move on from Tony, and eventually his albatross of a contract.

As I finished reading the article, I became depressed because I realized what a loser I must be to have actually taken the time to read his drivel.
 
More reason that Dallas needs to unload Romo.

Despite the absurdity and Dak's maturity in handling these articles/opinions, they're a distraction that no one enjoys.

Skip may be a lot of things, but he is not an idiot. He manipulated you and manipulates others into doing the one thing he wants them to do - tune into his comments, click on his links, retweet, Facebook and email insults and comments.

He has instigated enough to get people to care about his opinion and what he thinks and by so doing has ridden his career to the top of the sports broadcasting world.

No, he's NOT an idiot.
 
What a really stupid and lame article. Skip is the not the noted expert of the Cowboys like he thinks he is.

I have a hate/ignore relationship with Bayless. If he's on TV, I change the channel.
 
Skippy was bemoaning this most of the season as soon as Romo was getting close to being healed up. Although he kept getting proven wrong, I see he's still at it.

He needs to manufacture drama as an excuse to keep airing Cowboy's segments on his show because he knows we are one of the main reasons his ratings are as good as they are (LeBron topics seem to be the other pillar segment on his show).
 
Just watched a segment on the other haters station.....SAS. After they ripped on Romo, the next topic was who retires first, Brees or Brady. Smith made a huge case for Brees because he has been asked to do it all for his team. He wasn't surrounded with a defense to win and thinks he will retire first.

He went on and on about how Drew was the team and asked to score 30+ weekly to have a chance. I was sitting there thinking........sure sounds a lot like Romo's career yet no mention of that.....just kept harping on his two playoff wins :rolleyes:
 
I would really love to see Aikman step in for Sharpe- just for 1 episode. It would be Jim Rome/Jim Everett all over again
 
One's a compete homer, the other is a complete hater, between the 2 they are pretty average...
 
How is Dak a tough sell?

Dak is more marketable then Romo.
