Well, unexpected performance, good and bad. UT's deep backfield has run well despite injury. Baylor's Care bear defense has stunningly tightened up and forced 4 turnovers, including three picks.

Looks like Ash will finish the fourth quarter, i expect it to be close in the end, the 17 point lead likely will not last.

Well looks like Baylor has pulled away now, 48-24 with 7:45 left in the fourth, incredibly that care bear defense forced five turnovers.

Griffin had nice but unspectacular game...for him at least.

Nice to beat Texas two years in a row, good season fellas, good luck with your bowl and see you next year in the new and reinvigorated Big 12, where 7 of the 10 teams in next year's conference will finish this season ranked.

That one point Kansas State loss stings now, a 10-2 Baylor would be Fiesta Bowl bound.

Woot!

I can't believe Millen was so stupid as to say that Luck doesn't have the weapons around him that Griffin did... Even after talking about what a great running game Stanford has.

It's why he failed as a GM, Baylor's starting tight end is a Stanford transfer for pete sake, he was on the bench there.

Mack Brown shouldn't answer the phone if he's in a recruit's driveway anytime soon.

rg 3 is absolutely one phenomenal talent.

i compare him to randall cunningham...but i think he may be better than randall.

Fiesta Bowl might be setting your sights a bit high, that is where the Big 12 champ will end up and a 10-2 Baylor would finish behind a 10-2 OSU. Watching Luck versus Griffin would've been pretty sweet but I think the Cotton Bowl would have been more likely. All of the matchups after the Cotton Bowl look weak and uninteresting: Alamo vs Washington, Insight vs Iowa, Holiday vs Cal, Texas vs Penn St, Pinstripe vs Rutgers, Military vs UNC. The Big 12 shouldn't lose more than 1 bowl game this year (probably TAMU vs Penn St).

I do not think Luck is all that; but didn't he lose his #1 WR to injury for the season about halfway through?

You might be right, though I think that would've made baylor number two in the conference and up for a bid.

Either way it feels good to have the best college team in the state of Texas, something Baylor hasn't been since at least 1986.

CBS has them playing either the Sugar Bowl or Cotton Bowl now. Either would be a great game for the Bears. As for best in the state, you still lost to TAMU

Yeah but you know that team of a two months ago is not the one on a roll right now, Baylor is the best football team in the state of Texas in the year 2011, pretty phenomenal.:D

It is certainly looking like it could be a banner year for Baylor athletics. Congrats on the recent success.

On a related note with regards to bowl games, Deloss Dodds is apparently campaigning the Houston Bowl not to take A&M. I don't really care seeing as the Houston Bowl is worthless and I'd just as soon not watch A&M in a bowl at all, but I think it's funny how butthurt he is over all this.

Now Baylor is being projected as a Cotton Bowl participant, and KState a possible BCS, meaning had Baylor taken care of business their roles would be reversed.http://cfn.scout.com/2/557866.html

Valero Alamo

It matches the second choice team from the Pac 12 and the third choice
team from the Big 12 .

Virginia Tech played one decent team all year and got donkey stomped by them twice and are ranked 4 spots higher. If that isn't ******** enough they are also in a BCS Bowl game.

Baylor should be in the Cotton Bowl, but the Orange Bowl picked two teams ranked lower than Kansas State. Money talks.
