i dont have a problem with texas being number 3. But i do have a problem with the computers having them fifth!! including one that has them behind boise!

Does it really matter if Texas is 3rd or not considering Alabama/Florida will play each other in the SEC title game in a couple of weeks?

If Texas wins out, they're playing in the title game.

So Bama/Florida playing for the SEC title....there's no way Texas would get screwed out of the BCS title game right?

Never say never. Today's BCS rankings prove that a team can be #2 in all the people polls but be leap frogged in the BCS by a team with a strong computer showing. Texas has only mediocre teams left on their schedule - even the Big XII championship likely won't be against a ranked team. I don't see any way whatsoever Texas passes Cincy in the computer rankings if Cincy wins out. Heck they probably won't pass TCU either if TCU wins out too.

So would Cincy's strong computer showing be enough to leagfrog them over the Longhorns? Truth be told, I doubt it. But ya never know.

Have Cincy even played a ranked team?

TCU might actually have a legitimate complaint when they get left out if they beat Utah on Saturday

There's no possible way Texas gets passed. I think they are closer to #1 Florida than #4 TCU is to #3 Texas in the formula #'s. All the BCS mad scientists say Texas can't get passed if they win out.

Texas is fine.

If College football see's that Texas would get jumped in the BCS they would definetely throw some extra #'s in there to make sure it doesn't happen because there is no way they could defend any team jumping a undefeated Texas team at this point.

They will have played #21 Southern Fla., #25 WV and #12 Pittsburgh by the time the season has ended.
