Be Careful Posting Info From Other Forums

Especially this time of year a lot of false rumors get posted. One thread was just removed here that said the Pacman deal is a done and he's a Cowboy. The source was another Cowboys forum and they're all celebrating.

Problem is, that isn't true. If no major news source is reporting the story, there isn't a story.

Take anything read on another forum with a grain of salt. I am not trying to put any other forum down. Especially another Cowboys forum. Just don't blindly accept that kind of report.

Oh no, if he finds out information from his board was put over here, he might just have his lawyers destroy the Zone.

Also, it was probably leaked by one of the posters after they had talked to Jerry today. I never knew there was a board for all of Jerry's friends.

Yesterday. There was a memo. Of course it was on the Internet, so that may not count.

I just want to repeat, I'm not bashing any forum, nor saying which forum had it posted. That doesn't matter. What does matter is that it was someone none of us know and it was false.

this forum and DCFU have both been good forums as far as not letting erroneous BS fly....

I would like to see this site add all the smiles that DCFU had.....they had like 5 pages of them....it was pretty cool

But one thing I like about this site.....There never has been any POWER TRIPS on here by the mods. I have gotten a warning or two, but those were deserved. It seems like you have to totally go over the top to get banned from here.

Ditto. Every once in awhile, I'll look at the forums at dallascowboys.com, but I would never post there. When I see a story there that I don't see here, I assume that it isn't real.

This forum is definitely the best. I used to be a member of the "other" Cowboys forum, but the forums were too cheesy over there. I still visit every now and then during the off-season when I am desperate for breaking Cowboys news, but it usually is all assumption and the stories gets mangled with child-like posting and arguing. Who wants to pay for that???

yea i have a knack for jumping from forum to forum...different msg boards all the time...but since i started here...i never looked back....idk what it is about this board...but everyone seems to be real, and legit when they post things...plus you guys aren't immature

There are other Cowboys Forums!? Regardless, this is the only one that seems to match up with my high standards of no-nonsense news, classy posters and the respectful manner in which the members treat one another by never-ever putting down other peoples' opinions.
