Here on the CZ are constantly reacting / debating to things we hear the media say about the Cowboys.

This whole ugliness this week that has been going of Mike Florio being outed as outright trying to libel Aaron Rogers over this Cancer survivor / autograph story has reinforced to me how so much of "news" that we hear from the media about the Cowboys or any other NFL team that is supposedly well-researched and factual is often complete bunk as well as being motivated by the personal biases of individual reporters.

Not to worry. CZ posters always have two feet planted firmly on the ground. Level-headed all the way.

I can't go to sleep at night without checking under my bed for Dallas media.

Florio made a huge deal about how Aaron Rodgers was pure liquid evil for intentionally snubbing a woman who obviously had cancer and was waiting for an autograph.

It turns out AR just didn't see her and had signed stuff for her in the past. What made it worse was she, having been there, knew that he just didn't see her and wasn't upset at all.

Basically Florio found a misleading 45 second youtube video and used it as all the evidence that he needed that Aaron Rodgers is a horrible person.

I have hard time getting upset with athletes because of a failure to sign an autographs. I'm sure Rodgers like Aikman when he was here get bombarded with autopraph seekers and fact is they don't have the time to stand around handing out autographs and in the end someone always gets upset because they failed to sign theirs. In this instance he said he just did not see her I have no reason to think he is not telling the truth.

Florio has always had something of a chip on his shoulder and traveled beyond just journalism into the 'priviledged' media mold. His slants are what he often tried to sell, and on shock value.

Ah, but that's the kind of media bias they approve of.

I heard Aaron Rodgers uses the blood of Bears fans babies to make his bratwurst.

Thanks for the link.

I can't believe the way readers fawn all over him for apologizing.

He is a clown that got caught in one of his sensationalized articles that made him what he is today.

He had to apologize, ... didn't do it for two days. But he saw he had to do some damage control.

And how hard is it to apologize in a blog?

Do it face to face, ... now that is a difficult thing to do.

He should try to live his life and write his crap in such a way that he doesn't have to apologize.

To me, that is what being a man is. Not how good you are at apologizing.
