Guess so. I can only see Claiborne as a short-term starter from this draft. Maybe Crawford does something long-term, but Wilber and Johnson will struggle to make the roster. Horrendous.

Speaking of JAGs, Jerrah was probably upset that the Jaguars tried to outdo him with thinking out of the box by taking that punter.

That's what I wanted. I was hoping for us to trade down alllll the way out of round one.

I felt then and still do that we have enough stars and need more good players.

I wanted to basically swap #14 for three 2nds and draft four players in the 2nd rd. We could get a S, OC, OG and a BPA at some other need area.

That's four good prospects to push for a starting role, create competion and depth.

Then we could follow that up with 5 picks rds 3-7 much like what we're doing now.

Who knows what would've made us a better team in 2012 and beyond.


I will say this, and that's that I'm happy with what we did in round one. You almost have to jump on the chance to get such a difference maker when you get the chance.
