I didn't feel it was over at any of those moments. Or, for that matter, when we were pushing them around at halftime and got the football on the opening drive of the second half. I did think our back was up against the wall at each of those opportunities, but still felt like we had a puncher's chance if we just kept playing.
Oddly enough, for me, I also didn't have that pit in my stomach when we gave them the ball with a chance to tie it at the end of the fourth. Normally, I would. Even our drive before that, I had brainfarted and was so wrapped up in the clock that I forgot momentarily that we were in fg range. I thought we were going to have to protect a 4 point lead there to hold out for the win, and I thought for the first time in I can't remember how long 'we can probably do that.' That's crazy-talk for me.
