They have 67 million to spend in free agency......

They just cut loose WR Reggie Wayne......

Rumors have been all over Twitter they are going after RB Murray hard.....

Got a suspicion they are going after Bryant as well.

If you look @ the deal the Falcons made to move up and select WR Julio Jones....

They would absolutely be stealing Bryant as well. 2 late #1's......

Adding Murray and Bryant to Luck IMO would make the Colts the early Super Bowl favorite in the AFC

Not to mention adding them to T.Y. Hilton, Coby Fleener, Dwayne Allen. That offense would be dangerous

0% chance both walk. It's not like we are broke with no cap room...we have cap room and the right to match both offers. If they offer Demarco $10M+ per year its entirely possible, but no way Jerry would let both just walk at the end of Romo's window to win something.

We don't have the right to match Murray. He is an UFA.

No we don't get an "official" chance to match, but he's said all along that he wants to be back in Dallas. By all accounts he is going to test free agency and go back to Jerry with the biggest number and give him a chance to come as close as possible.

How can they steal a tagged player?

Easy. They sign him to a contract. Cowboys have the right to match it or let him go to the team attempting to sign him.

We refuse to match the offer, we get two 1st round picks.

Not going to be blindsided by anybody. FO perfectly ready to let Murray walk. They will match Dez offer if they want or need.

In fact Colts may help Dallas decision easier if they over pay for Murray. No fan will fault JJ not breaking the bank for RB.

I don't believe the Cowboys will be blindsided by any team or scenario.

But I do see it very possible the Colts could sign Murray and then go after Dez. They have a ton of money and need to add more weapons for Andrew Luck. If they sign Dez and Demarco they will have their own "Big 3" and will be tough to contend with. Those two 1st round picks they would be giving up would be bottom of the 1st round. Well worth it for Dez Bryant

Why does everyone assume it is two late #1s? If Luck were to go down, that would be a very high pick they would surrender, which is why I do not think they would go after him.

Don't believe they'd go after Bryant. If they were smart and had to go after a receiver and hurt an AFC rival, get Demaryius Thomas. But they won't do either. There's Cobb and Maclin out there for the taking.

Not saying Colts might not go for it,but......

You can't compare the Julio deal that well because they got him for 5 years on a rookie deal....not for 125 mil or so.

I have a colts friend at my office and he is already eagerly waiting being able to get him a new Murrary colts jersey

They would be stupid to go after Bryant. They need to be patient and develope there players before mortgaging there future for a WR. Moncrief is going to be a stud

The Colts have two good young WRs in Hilton and Moncrief, they are not going to cough up two 1st rounders and 100+ million to get Dez.

Honestly if they did want to deal, Id negotiate a 1st, a 2nd, and Moncrief for Bryant.

This theory about Murray to the Colts isn't new. Many of us have had him ticketed there since the season ended. But I can't see them going after Bryant too. Not only would it cost two #1's, it would cost a contract so large, that the Cowboys would be unwilling to match. Add in whatever exorbitant contract Murray got, and the impending new contract for the best young quarterback in the game, and they just can't afford it.

Add to that that Hilton is probably a 10 million per year guy now

I believe their defense was pretty ad last year, forcing the offense to carry the team. They may be wiser spending their cash there instead of every high priced offensive player; but I work construction so what do I know... -and don't care what they do as long as Dez is in Dalllas!
