yeah I agree, the Martellus bashing & Roy bashing has really gotten sad. Why not just try and be positive and hope the kid matures & grows into a good man and football player? I've been frustrated with him too at times but to continue judging the guy isn't helping in any way. The people who judge his character have 3 fingers pointing right back at them

What good does us being positive about Marty B do? This is a message board to discuss what we think. If we don't think Marty B is any good this is the place to say it. It's not like this is Extreme Skins where we have to think all of our players are the best in the NFL.

I agree. I think sometimes the voice of discontent by fans and media can spur a player on. My personal view is the kid has a ton of talent but needs to grow up. If Dallas can get that through his head we have a chance to have a very talented player in Bennett. With this being his 3rd season this coming year I think it is worth giving him this season to prove himself

I think he has a ton of talent as well. He has the potential to be a top 5 TE IMO. If he can realize that potential that will make the offense even more dangerous.

We agree. I just think it is worth trying to get him going in Dallas instead of seeing him get it going some where else. No doubt the guy is immature but I hold out hope that the coaches will get through to him along with Jerry and if they do I think many fans will be pleased by what Bennett can do.

That's not the point.. Discussing it once or twice is ok, but the constant judging of him is just overboard.. Just gets to the point where people don't even want to come to the forum & I don't want to be one of those b/c I love when this board is about football

I don't know what kind of season Bennett may or may not have. Nor do you, you can sit there and rag on the kid all day long but it does not change the fact he does have all around talent to play the position and if the kid can get out of his own way I have no reason to think he can't live up to his potential

. I wish all people matured at the same rate but they don't and while Bennett can be a bit of a clown at times he is not a bad kid getting into trouble.

So yes I truly hope he can do some growing up and contribute to this team he has the physical skill to do the job.
