I sure do love seeing and hearing this same sentiment from the same group of people literally every single time the NFL has someone who isn’t a classic rock band preform.

I can’t wait to watch one of the best, most creative lyricists, and most important artists in the world right now, Kendrick Lamar, perform the Super Bowl halftime show, only for all the old guys I traditionally watch the game with say “rap? More like CRap? Hahaha am I right? They should wheel The Rolling Stones out there in their wheelchairs!!! They should have [insert classic rock band from their high school days] preform instead!!!” Like they do every single year.

I sure do love seeing and hearing the same dang thing literally every performance the NFL has. I love it. Love it love it love it.

When's the last time they had a classic rock band perform? It's been nothing but horrible rap and "country" acts for years.

I don’t like either but can tolerate country as long as it is not song after song.
Give me Classic rock, Blues and Jazz.

It's even worse than that. "Country" hasn't been country since the devil himself, Garth Brooks came along. It's been bad Pop music with a slight country twang ever since. Post Malone is NOT country, nor is anyone else currently being foisted off on us.

Hell, the AI music I prompt in to programs churns out far better, and actual Country music than anything I've heard in 30 years.
