Gotcha.

I really don't like the idea of playing the Eagles in back-to-back weeks. I'd feel every bit as confident about beating the Vikes as I would the Eagles -- maybe even if we were at home.
If the Vikings lose their last two and the Eagles beat us next week, then we'd go to Arizona (if they win their last game) or Minnesota (if Arizona loses).
Either way, the combination of any Viking loss(es) and Philly beating us keeps us from having to play Philly in back-to-back weeks.

It'll make for some interesting strategy talk if the Vikes lose tonight.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Vikings in the playoffs, they're not playing well

Yeah but wouldn't it be sweet to take the NFC East from them one week, and the next week knock the out of the playoffs?

You know what they say, no guts no glory, and the glory that would go with beating them back to back would be immeasurable.

Bragging rights alone would be out of this world!

+1...

Yeah it would. :D

I'd love to win the East two out of the last three years after not winning it for 13 years or whatever it is.

Cowboy fans have confidence problems when it comes to the Eagles for some reason. They're a good team, but they're very beatable. And we only have to really beat them once.
I think we can beat them, I just think it would be tough to do it two weeks in a row, and three times in one year. I'd almost feel better about losing next week and then beating them at their place... Don't know why.

I really do think there's a great chance Minny loses tonight, though. Freezing cold + 40-year-old joints = trouble.

Anybody notice the push that the Bears are getting on running plays? They are pushing the Vikes backwards on virtually every run....

Bears downfall should they lose will be Cutler and his INT's....he's nearly thrown a couple already.....

Even with the penalty, the Bears should just run it every time.....avoid the INT...well that'll work...passing TD!

if minny loses this and wins next week...would you rather beat the eagles next week and play them again or lose to the eagles and play the vikings?

Both very possible scenarios....I just care about US winning at this point.

All other scenarios are for naught if we don't win...but we will...:starspin :star:

That would be awsome, but that is a tall order, to beat a division opponent 3 times in 1 season is hard enough, but to do it back to back weekends would be realy tough.

One thing about the Giants, they're a proud team. I'd be surprised if they don't play their hearts out next week--even if it meant Dallas getting a bye. Is the GB/AZ game an early game next week? Ie, will we know going in that the PHI game could potentially be for the 2 seed?
