Bears defense

Don’t sleep on Chicago. They are not in the same category as philly but they have some explosive play makers and a strong run game coming off a bye week.

My guess is that philly offense is just too much for Chicago to keep up with, but this should be the type of game where if you get a well timed turnover anything can happen.

31-23 Philly is my prediction, but Chicago has a punchers chance

The Bears are gonna get smashed. This game will be over by the start of the 2nd quarter.

I know, I know, any given Sunday...but, the Eagles are really good and are playing good football all season.

It's the old Chip Kelly offense for the Eagles, just version 2, nobody else is playing it so the defense is not geared inherently toward dealing with its nuances. my two cents

The Bears defense spends its practices defending against Justin Fields.

Could they have the blueprint to slow down Hurts. And can the rest of the league adopt?
We are not adopting Fields.
We are trying to save money
And don't need another mouth to feed.
Lol

We've played against five running QB's so far.
I think the defense knows what to do in that regard.

The Bears have the worst defense in the league and specifically one of the very worst run defenses. So, no.

You're not wrong, and to be honest I think the league adapts to it, really just a matter of when.

Once piece I do feel is different though is the Eagles have the pieces to really run this style offense and do it well. Compare this Eagles team to the 2013 version and a lot of the same type pieces are there except you add a monster receiver in AJ Brown to the mix, and probably a better QB in Hurts vs Foles...I know Vick was there, but Foles played most that year.

All we have to do is make sure whoever has containment does it, because every time there's a big play around the end somebody you got caught inside.

I remember the stunt where the defensive end would shoot the inside gap and I was supposed to circle around behind him and attack from the outside.

Of course I had containment and I would always forget, about then, the quarterback or running back would take off for the outside and I would pretty much have an accident in my pants every time because I wasn't going to get out there with my blazing 5.2 speed:facepalm:

Chicago is definitely going to give Philly their best shot, I really believe practicing against Fields will benefit them the best that it can.

Philly - 48
Chicago - 10

Eagles have six players listed as limited or out, including Lane Johnson. Upset coming???
Lmao. They are all playing.

They will do the same next week.

Siriani will play it all week with Johnson, Goedart etc

Really good point, in that they will know as good as anyone. Unfortunately that knowledge probably isn't enough to make up for a lack of talent.
