Bears @ Eagles thread

Just don't know how fans can watch Foles and not be on board with the Cowboys taking a flier on a QB in every draft until we find the right guy.

Think the Eagles and their fans would feel like their arrow is pointing up with an over-the-hill Mike Vick (and no Foles) in charge?

IMO, better to pick a QB too early than too late.

Ehh Foles didn't look very good last year and his skill set a whole is pretty mediocre. Chip Kelly is a much better coach than I ever thought and Foles is along for the ride.

Chip Kelly has a lot to do with it, but I am very impressed with Foles' accuracy. He is a gunslinger.

Foles is doing a nice job of managing that offense. There's no denying the production. That said, his WRs make a ton of plays for him on what are generally pretty lousy downfield balls. They wobble, and, even when he's throwing into double coverage, the WRs make huge adjustments on the ball in mid air and come back for shoestring tackles. He's had a couple of good passes in the red zone that I thought were impressive. Mostly to Ertz. He also seems to throw a lot of touches to open receivers while rolling out on out-routes. Nice plays, but not exactly the most difficult throws.

He's good enough to beat us. He's not good enough that I'd be happy handing him a huge contract in a year or two. I'm just not the impressed with him (though I'm quite impressed with that Eagles offense).

He is accurate when given time, not doubt. But his arm isnt particularly strong and he doesn't move his feet very well either.

I think he's an ok qb, but his stats are incredibly inflated due to that offense no one can figure out. Foles reminds me of Chad Pennington a lot.

If boy genius, Callahan, and romo hadn't found a way to do what no other NFL team could do in blowing last weeks game, we'd be laughing at the Eagles, calling this their playoffs, and resting our injured and key vets next week.

We brought this on ourselves, so win or lose next week, Jerry should still fire this staff and bring in someone else next week.

Pretty strange, because everybody was blasting their OL last year. Andy Reid is a great coach, so it's hard to understand why, outside sometimes you need a change. Maybe the fast pace helps the line?

There entire OL as hurt. They are healthy and Kelly's sport science has the whole team in the best shape of their lives and minimal injuries.

Bears look like a 1-15 team, yet they whooped us.

Eagles are on a major roll. Basically unstoppable tonight.

I pray we don't get embarrassed with the season on the line, on national TV, to an NFC East opponent…again.

Why? If we are gonna lose, it's got to be in a way where Jerry has no choice but to blow up the staff.

Eagles fans must be thinking Super Bowl after this performance. What a beat down. Bears are not who we thought they were.

Foles has a lot of quick and short passes that his players turn into long gains and pads his stats. A lot of his passes are very bad but his WRs make plays for him.
