been reading some bears message boards and came to 1 of 2 possible conclusions.
#1. they think there team is that good
#2. they are underestimating the dallas cowboys.

they think our offense will get shutdown. some fool even said hester will score them 14 points on returns. they think our D is that bad and rex and those bums playing rb for them will smoke our defense. I think it will be a close game that could go either way. I also think homefield advantage isn't as much as it would be had this game been scheduled in december.

They don't see Dallas enough to know what their talking about and they hate the fact that Dallas garners so many press clippings because of their superior legacy and current hot hand.

They'll learn, they better hope their team is more prudent.

I have to listen to this kind of crap all the time living in central IL. BLAH, I've got so many bets riding on this game. The Cowboys are like the Yankees man. You either lovem or hatem there is no gray area.

They may be right about Hester, our kick and punt coverage is horrible. It might be the only points they get though.

I don't think that is anything more than being a homer. The only Dallas game that most of them would have seen would be the Giants game where the Defense got lit up. Their Defense is very good and the most points scored against them so far is fourteen, which is from a LT led San Diego team that was pretty good last year. I'm sure if they read this board they would come away with the same opinion of the Cowboys fans here.

Being as I am a homer, I don't see the bears offense breaking out against the Dallas D, unless "breaking out" means scoring ten to fourteen legitimate points. If Newman is healthy this weekend, that fourteen will be hard to come by. If Dallas scores in the twenties, I would say a win is in the bag.

1: their team is that good

2: their fans are understimating us. I guarantee the players aren't

Bears are a good teams folks. Even if its not flashy at the end of the day it still gets it done.

They have been to the top of the NFC... We haven't won a playoff game.

So no matter how good we THINK we are we still aren't a proven team yet.

Beating the Bears, at Soldier Field, in their home opener, will help us make a big step in the right direction.

I agree. Dallas can't afford to have 11 penalties in this upcoming game as we did lastweek. This is a tough test for the Cowboys and I look forward to see how this team responds to this challenge.

Same here. Lots of crap spoke in Cent. Illinois.

While this is all fun and good, we're doing the exact same thing. Or the majority of Cowboy fans are.
