I feel bad for the guy, but then he is a Giant. The team which knocked out Romo for the year last season. I won't celebrate the injury, but I don't cry any tears for injuries to Giants players. I mean, it wasn't necessary for a 300 lb guy to go airborne on Romo's collarbone. So cry me a freaking river.

Barber just needs a better line than we were able to provide. He's not the guy that's gonna make a guy miss at the line, or behind the line as was the case sometimes.

But if you give him some decent blocking, he can still punish guys.

It was a 230+ lb LB in Boley......not that much bigger than Romo. And he never went airborne, just a form tackle and drove him to the ground.

Are we talking about the same incident?

It was a LB, not a 300 lb DL, but your point is still a good one.

He's never had any though, he's not a quick twitch guy. He's a "lower his head and try to blow a hole in your chest" type back.

I dunno. The ball was gone, and Boley left his feet, had Romo's arm pinned, and landed hard on him. It wasn't necessary to project himself. He wasn't trying to bat the ball down. He was trying to knock Romo out. Note the high 5's after the play.

That was my point. He didn't need to take him down. Ball was gone and he knew it. He could have bumped him and walked away. You would never see Ware take that shot if given the chance.
