The bears were down by 3 points with 2:02 left in the game. They had one timeout and the 2 minute warning.
I don't know these rules. I thought if you kicked the ball out of bounds, or not in the kick zone it was a penalty. Meaning you could take the ball at the 40, or you could make them kick it again 5 yards further back. What's the rule here?
If the Bears could have just kicked the ball 10 yards and put the Raiders at their own 40, why didn't they do that? Did the coach not know the rules?
