#Bears RB Matt Forte (ankle) participated in practice today. Lovie Smith sounds upbeat but says it is a long way to Monday.

RB Michael Bush, who banged up shoulder last week, also practiced. Sitting out were DE Julius Peppers, FB Evan Rodriguez & RT Gabe Carimi

Chris Conte, who dislocated his right shoulder in preseason, took a screwdriver and removed his harness before Sunday's Rams game. But ...

He got caught by team trainer Chris Hanks and had to put a harness back on before kickoff. Conte can't play without it, at least not yet.
