RT @skjensen BREAKING: #Bears are expected to sign WR Roy Williams, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys, according to league source.

They'll need him for their 2TE set. He's a good blocker, you know.....

Watch him have his first Pro Bowl year.

[Bold prediction for the year.]

hope things work out for the guy with his new team.. Class act & only wish him the best.

Why do I get the feeling that he will come back and bite us. Good luck to him.

I feel like he has a lot of talent that unfortunately we didn't get to see.. prolly put so much pressure on himself being the home state local kid from TX, will def be interested in seeing him with a fresh start with no big expectations

1) I stand corrected on his Pro Bowl appearance. Thanks!

2) The fresh start will do him good but there will definitely be expectations. He can be a #1 in this league. His extension with Dallas was proof that someone thought he could. I wouldn't doubt his contract in Chicago will be a 3Yr/$15Mil or something similar. It gives the Bears time to decide to keep him and limit their risk.

He'll have a better year there than he ever had in Dallas. I fully expect that.

Good luck to Roy on the Bears, hopefully he does good except when playing us.

Great to hear it. He was the anti-TO, and I appreciated that immensely. I wish the circumstances in which he arrived were different because he looked to be a remade player at the start of last season. I was really looking forward to having him turn it around and make some payment on that expensive trade debt we worked up, but instead it'll go down as one of the worst trades Jerry ever made.
