People complain on what we gave up for Roy, which, admittedly, was a lot....

But it could be worse. We could have given up more for Cutler.

Not his fault, but that's 2 so far for Cutler. I expect 4 or 5 before the game is up.

How does Cutler get so much credit for being a great quarterback and every one of his losses are blamed on his team's bad defensive play. How does he get that excuse, while Romo's losses are blamed entirely on him. I don't remember Romo blocking on those 2 long Ravens runs for touchdowns last year. I bring up that one game as one example, but we've had bad defense for awhile.

I wanted him coming out of S Carolina back in 06 (our wasted draft) but due to our philosophy on drafting WR's we passed.

My question is, why is Jerry and the rest of the front office so against waiting on the development of WR's? It's not like every position is going to come in and start right away, and we're still waiting to see the full development of Bobby Carpenter who was drafted when we had Bradie and Akin inside, and Ware and Ellis outside.

Then again Rice is the exact same receiver as Roy, and I DO think Roy will get it turned around eventually, so this may end up being a moot point. But watching the Vikings play today (and all season) I've become an even bigger Sidney Rice fan.

The Vikings are scary...

God i hate the vikes. We lost to them twice in 1999, again in 2000(on turkey day no less) then took a beat down in 2004. I'm sick of these *****s.

Jerry's just covering for gettings wrs taken right before their pick.

see steve smith, greg jennings.

which is kind of weird since they seem to have a good eye for talent at the wr position.

yet they screwed up the roy williams evaluation so badly.

The fact that 1st round WRs bust at the highest rate of any possition probably has something to do with his unwillingness to draft a WR high. He has no problem trading away the house for them though:banghead:

I disagree with the Roy and Rice comparison.. two pretty different receivers. Rice is more of a burner.

Everyone knows that I think he is good but not great.

With that said, MAJOR PROPS to what he is doing.

That is all.

Lol you can't be serious.

A.) Rice is NOT a burner
B.) Roy isn't as slow as some think. He's not Keyshawn out there.

I think it's the Bears OL. They're play like bullfighters.
