Rather than looking at the type of player and abilities, they looked at stats.

Stats aren't meaningless, even if they aren't everything. Beasley has a long way to go to catch Welker in terms of production.

Close your eyes and you can almost see him in NE offense the way they use Edelman and Amandola. Which I admire.

Yes, agreed. But as far as player ability, they are the exact same. As we can see, when Bease is given opportunities, his production is right on par with Welker due to their incredible similarities in player ability.

JG using Witten to set some picks for Beasley this week. I wonder if JG finally heard all the fans crying, or if he just noticed how effective they are in film. Either way I hope they continue to do it. Maybe coach Jerry heard the fans and had them work it in. :)

Dak needs to be careful on some of those out routes, he has been a bit late but Beastley has been so open it hasn't mattered. Hopefully the add in an out and up, if defenses continue to try to jump that route.

7 catches on 7 targets is pretty impressive, as is his 22 receptions on 25 targets. Pretty damn good for some one so small.

It finally looked like we understand how to set picks instead of just running into the defender and drawing a flag for illegal pick.

I think of that every time he catches a pass. I've heard many Cowboys fans complain about him and how he's not a real WR and rarely catches a pass over 5 yards, but who cares? The Pats have made a living the last 15 years with players and plays like this. He catches almost everything and is constantly moving the chains. Great complement to Dez, Witten and the run game.
