Sign Leary......

My football IQ isnt up to par with some of the animals on here but if Collins could play tackle it would be really nice to resign Leary and keep him. Hes the bully on the block and teams need guys who will legitimately fight you lol. Its tough letting go of a player with his talent.

Obviously, I'm a huge fan. He's not a Pro Bowler, Especially with a lot of other receivers having great years. He's not going to crack 1,000 yards but he has been the Cowboys best receiver this year and I'll take that as a fan. He's 5 foot 8 and 180 pounds and playing in the NFL. Remember The Icecube, Gerald Mcneil? I actually think he was smaller then Beasley but I always cheered for him too. I just like the underdog. Beasley has become a legitimate weapon out of the slot but I hate saying it, I don't think his stats are good enough to put him in the Pro Bowl.

One of the most esteemed modern measurements (DYAR) that evaluates receivers...puts Cole 4th in the entire NFL!

You got that right. Here are the top five:
1- Julio Jones
2- T.Y. Hilton
3- Michael Thomas
4- Cole Beasley
5- AJ Green

The rating looks at yards, yards per catch, completion rate when throwing your direction. DYAR factors in the caliber of the defenses you are playing against and looks at situational aspects. It also penalizes you for fumbles. You get credit if you drew pass interference.

Bryant was rising fast until Sunday. He isn't in the top 30.

When you remove the human prejudice against Cole because he's small and white...he's positively top drawer.

The reason I couldn't give him a pro bowl vote is that he doesn't draw double team. I could not vote for Dez this season. Dez's catch rate is only 48%.

Dez is ultra important to the Cowboys and is the most talented, but he isn't consistent.

I think the fact Beasley is small has more to do with it than his skin color.

Jordy Nelson has always received plenty of respect despite the fact that he is a white WR.

And Edelman, welker, chrobet, stokely, I could go on

All those guys had to work through being diminished, dismissed and discounted.

-All-Pro Welker was undrafted
-Julian Edelman was drafted in the 7th round
-Cole B was undrafted
-Stokely had to wait til round 4
-All-Pro Jordy Nelson should have been a first rounder...he lasted until late second round
- Chrebet undrafted
-Amendola undrafted (released by Cowboys)

These names only put my argument into the air-tight category. Cole is under-appreciated because he's white.
