and all is forgiven this year. If Cowboy fans have to bite the bullet for one year to get Wade out...so be it. But IMHO..all if forgiven if Dallas beats the Eagles this week. From speaking with family members and friends in Philly area....they dont want to play Dallas. They see them as Dangerous...nothing to lose and they particularly dont like the thought that Dallas no longer has a liability at HC. Dallas matched up well last year but players are vastly different now with Vick in for McNabb and Kitna in for Romo. Not having Dez hurts...but this would be great game for Austin to reestablish himself and Roy will have advantage over banged up DB for Eagles. One again..run the ball and make Vick throw the ball early in the pocket.

We need steady pressure if not sacks from our defensive front. This will be a great game.

Same here... Family and friend do not want to see Dallas, now it gets easier since we wont have Dez but that just means Miles and the guys will have to step it up! Most of the family and friends back in Philly dont want to see the Boys, but once 610 WIP gets at em it will be the normal game between the Eagles and the Cowboys. Im sure 610 WIP has been charging them up since last week!

What I find interesting is the NFC East breakdown in records.

While Philly clearly has the best record, they're 2-2 in the division.

So all the teams are 2-2, except Dallas, who are 1-2. I think these upcoming division games are going to be VERY interesting.

I'm not holding out for playoffs, but that did open my eyes that the division isn't totally out of reach.

No doubt we can beat the Eagles, but we're a pretty damn banged up football team right now. Injuries are taking a toll.

It would be a GREAT Christmas gift if we could somehow sweep the Buzzards and knock them out of the playoffs. I don't see it happening, but I can dream.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't we have no chance mathematically now to win the division? Philly and NY both have 8 wins and since they're playing each other they both can't lose out so one of those teams at worst will be 9-7.

Something is mathematically wrong here....and I think that Philly is 2-1 in the division. IIRC.

Despite being 3-1 in their last four games, the Dallas Cowboys surge is simply too little too late. There are two wild card playoff spots in the NFC which are presently occupied by one 9-3 team (New Orleans Saints) and three 8-4 teams (Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and the Green Bay Packers). Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they do not own the head to head tie breaker against the Packers. Consequently the Cowboys wild-card pulse has been extinguished.

and

The Cowboys could still win the NFC East division if the Giants and Eagles, who are both at 8-4, were to lose the remainder of their games. There is one big problem with that – the Giants and Eagles play against each other on December 19. Even a tie would place them at 8.5 wins securing their advantage over the Cowboys.

Eh. *shrug* I honestly don't know. I was just going by a graphic they were showing about Philly being 2-2 in the division.

My overall point was that if the Cowboys keep playing well, they're going to give a few teams the blues, preferably the Eagles.

All I'm asking for is a split.

Me too, but I would like to see Spencer lay some wood on Vick. He's been resting the whole season, so he ought to be ready.

nothing would make me happier as they are already planning the Super Bowl.

I think we wil stuff them, providing we left Brooking in Indy:D

I wonder if they would activate the new safety to spy on Vick.

Umm,,,

Anyone seen lately how the egals are playing? Especially Vick?

Anyone see how horrible Dallas's defense has been the past few games?

Anyone realize that Bryant ain't playing and the offense, while scoring, is still suspect?

I can't say with a straight face that Dallas can beat the egals. LOL.. I think Dallas will have to get lucky as all get out to win. Vick will have to play insanely worse the Peyton did yesterday.

I can see this game getting real ugly.

i think it will be a close game.If we can contain Vick reasonably well then we will have a chance.Obviously turnovers will be the key when playing the eagles.

Thats what Im talking about sweep them! not beat them! Knock em out of the playoffs. all is not forgotten on this nightmare of a season. Inflict
damage on the opposing team play spoiler and salvage something on this crap-tacular season..we were knocked out by Oct...they have to do more to get me back in there good graces. I'm a very disappointed Proud Cowboy fan. Yes Garrett's obviously doing a very good job..but lets put the pedal to the medal these guys are auditioning for the next coaching staff that comes in here.
Hopefully whomever Redball chose's to coach with.....

I want a split with the Eagles. But all we be forgiven if we crush the Commanders.
