Beating San Francisco would be proof this is a different team

Losing to Detroit in the way we did sucked but not all his lost ladies and gents. It’s time we take on our old rivals, the 49ers!! The Cowboys over the last few seasons lose this game but if this team wants to shut up the naysayers then they come to SF and punch them in the month. Win this game and everybody forgets about the Detroit beat down and we can start talking about how this team have finally overcome their nemesis and how this team might be different. A loss here would be same ol Cowboys and wouldn’t bode well for the remainder of the season. A win here and this team might start making noise in the nfc!!!

I always thought the 49ers would be the pivotal game of the season even during the offseason. I have no idea who will win this game. Each team needs this game to potentially save their season. But I do believe the Cowboys are overdue for a win against them. Yes the 49ers are more vulnerable than ever, but the Cowboys are backed against the wall. They just have to go out and slug it out as hard as they can. They don't have a choice. And then you are going to know if there is any hope for this season.

Horrible matchup for Dallas. They are fast, tough, disciplined, and hit.

The Cowboys lack team speed, play soft and undisciplined, avoid contact, and lack grit.

Even with the injuries, styles make fights, and SF just knows how to brawl. Dallas self-destructs and gets tight far too easily.

I really hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t see us being able to physically match up against SF.

Throw in their scheme and coaching advantage on offense and defense- and I would be shocked if Dallas won.

We have the ST advantage and the bye week “more rested and prepared” edge, but I think that team is full of the kryptonite that exposes us as frauds in this league.

I hope Dak and this team prove me wrong

Niners are at home and coming off a loss. Dallas won’t catch them ‘napping’ - and that would be the only hope I’d have for the upset. Niners have some key injuries but even so - they are a deeper team on both sides of the ball. I only favor Dallas special teams in this one and that won’t cut it. I’m taking SF and giving the points (without even having seen the spread) and laughing all the way to the bank.

Both teams are awful…I wouldn’t bet on either. Dallas can win this game with a moderate effort.

SF does not look that same as they have the last few years. I think losing Aiyuk and not having CMC with help Dallas keep this game closer, but I still think the SF defense is going to be a problem for the Cowboys OL. If Bosa faces Guyton, Dak could get beat up pretty bad.

At this point it could honestly be anyone's game with the amount of injuries the 49ers are dealing with. However they still may be to physical especially Bosa destroying our OL

The Chiefs won bc their D stepped up and stopped the run, tackled well, and pressured Purdy consistently.

And say what you want about Mahomes’ play yesterday, but the bottom line is they got a lead and made SF play from behind the entire game. Their offense made enough plays to stay ahead of the chains.

Dak and this offense? When is the last time they started a game efficiently and took a lead? They have gotten into a horrid trend of starting slow and playing sloppy and relying on a second half scramble to try and get back into games.

For Dallas to have ANY chance against SF on Sunday, they need to limit mistakes, play great team D, and make every RZ opportunity count.

Their are games you have to physically take the other team’s lunch money, and Kc did it yesterday. Does Dallas have the mental toughness and overall attitude to play that way?

I have not seen that in a long, long time

when you got three skins on the wall and done the things Mahomes has done, you get a lot of slack
BUT he has not played very well this year so far
yet he made a couple of big plays yesterday
