1. Brookings was so active today. Another game like that and I could believe
2. Romo looked more confident in the last quarter. And in the OT.
3. These players played more on ability than on leadership.
4. This was a badly needed win, a psychological uplift, a time this week to catch one's breath.
5. Spencer might be ready to blossom.

I noticed a couple of things:

1) this is a completly undisplined team. 4 defensive offsides on one drive...gimme a brake.

2) The defense agains crumbles when the game is on the line. Don't come at me that they were gassed. Man up and make a play....they can't do it when the pressure is on.

3) Only 8 carries for Choice. Barber is not right, yet Garrett fails to utilize the full capablity of the run game. Run it until they stop it. Garrett's an idiot playcaller.

4) Why is Ken Hamilin even playing? A real coach would have benched is sorry a** a few games ago. Send a message coach, if you can't play, your benched.

A win is a win, but after 5 games, this is an 8-8 team.

1. Brooking will impact this team in more ways than one. He is already.
2. Well, duh, he is not a "system QB", he needs to be Romo-esque
3. Same S Diff Day
4. The W simply allowed us to not put an L on record
5. Always liked Spencer, now would be great.

1. Brooking was great. Agree.
2. Romo looked more like the Romo we know, which is a good step going into the bye week.
3. I don't know if you can measure leadership. Austin certainly led the way today and I feel Brooking did the same on defense.
4. It was a badly needed win. It proves that no matter how "bad" a team may look, EVERY week in the NFL is a tough week.
5. Spencer will be fine. He looks great in the flats and got some good pressures today.

Neither of you noticed Miles Austin?

I noticed on both TD's that the Chiefs missed easy tackles. I also noticed Austin drop the TD in the first half and made a half-*** attempt on another end zone pass.

Against a good team (see last week against Bronco's) Austin doesn't come up with those plays.

Now you will see him disappear or get hurt for 4 weeks.

Leadership has to come from the players.....Is Brookings are leader now? I guess Witten is on offense...Barber leads by example....but we need more....IMHO I dont think Romo wants or can be a leader ...JMHO

The offside penalties are all on the players.....remember snap counts is on the players. For whatever reason....we have some dumb players.....remember...laces out...not towards the kicker.....just dumb.

But I thought overall....the team played fairly well....but we made some stupid mistakes and we also didnt execute like we expect these players too

How long have we heard this? Austin will never be a #1 or #2. He's a deep threat and that's it which means he will never play consistently.

why do you think that? I missed the game today so that's why i'm asking. he looks good in coverage and against the run but that's about it. he's the king of almost making plays.

We would have had a lot more chances to hand the ball off if that darn Miles Austin had stopped scoring 60-yard touchdowns. What an idiot.

And with Michael Hamlin hurt and Watkins already filling in for Sensabaugh, your brilliant solution is what -- a starting role for Alan Ball?

Um, no.

Miles Austin broke those tackles -- a skill that is highly prized and sought-after in ball carriers.

Austin fought through the defender, and then outraced the secondary. This is the very ability upon which TO has based his entire HOF career.

They did fizzle at the end of the fourth quarter.

But they also held serve twice in overtime, the last time with the Chiefs starting at their own 49.

Neither one of Miles Austin's touchdowns today were deep routes, neither was his 43 yard romp week one in Tampa Bay.

All plays were broken tackles and run after the catch.

Calling Sky Miles a "deep threat" is pretty hollow.

DBoy don't get banned. Be proactive! The mods like car parts, stereos and them fancy incense holders and vanilla incense. Oh, and tatoo equipment.;)

Keeps me viable!
