I'm not going to argue with any win but why didn't the clock start after the penalty was declined?
The clock always stops on a penalty, whether it is accepted or declined.
Eli said he thought we used a timeout when the clock stopped on the penalty declined and he lost track of our timeouts because of it.
Why was Eli snapping the ball with so much time on the clock throughout that drive?
This. Especially that one play where the refs made the running clock match the 40 second play clock...he hiked the ball at around 34 seconds I believe. Weird that the commentators didn't pick up on it.

IIRC, it has to be within a certain amount of minutes at the end of both halves for this to be true. I don't know the exact minutes, but this situation was within it.

Not sure how that makes a difference, because we really were out of time outs when he gave us his gift.Eli said he thought we used a timeout when the clock stopped on the penalty declined and he lost track of our timeouts because of it.
