It's been ho hum since we lost to the Packers, at least to those of us who saw we were a worse team. We've always been on the verge of collapse, even while winning 12 games. That's the tightrope you walk with the worst GM in football. Now there is no "fake and finesse" as Jimmy Johnson once said. We are now a clear reflection of an indifferent owner.

It's Detroit...The Rust Belt. Hard core 'ers.

And if you've never been there (8 times), you wouldn't understand not being there and the epic failure we have now.
I went to Detroit back in early 90’s when I was with Dallas Cowboys Travel Club.

Great ole diehard fans . They were excited when we came to town as game would sellout and be broadcast locally.

Unfortunately, Jerry and the NFL org and teams profit by a Cowboys road game. I can get a Bucs ticket for 15 dollars when they play anyone but cowboys. A good seat for Cowboys at Bucs is like 300.

The beauty and ugly of season tickets as well.

I usually have an attachment to some of the players. I don’t at all now. You could dump the lot and I’d not miss a single one.

I didn't even know what time the game was until this morning. I'm about to head to the gym and then work on my garage storage system. This game like all the others this season, will be back ground.

I used to be excited all week. Jerry has officially made Sunday just another day. My biggest Cowboy thrill is what may possibly change this off season. Smh

With another failed and in this case collapsed season it’s become easier for me to turn off and or detach emotions .

As a diehard I’ll continue to watch but in a ho hum state of mind . I spend less time reading and listening about the Cowboys including less time on this site.

It’s just not very interesting to me. And it’s less painful. I’ve taken an Apathetic approach for decades anyway under our dysfunctional organization so it doesn’t take much additional effort.

I have to put coffee on to avoid dozing off during the game. I have a 60 year streak watching Cowboy games so won’t let that be broken anymore than missing a SB in . I don’t have a second team , etc so the NFL as a result becomes more boring as well when we aren’t in contention or even in the game .

Fortunately I have Amateur Football to dive in. College Football has supplied all of the excitement to fill in much of the void. I’ve attended and traveled to games and traveled to a new venue this season. I have plans for more next year. A new playoff series creates some new excitement and a NFL type playoff system. 4 weeks of playoff football. I can hardly wait.

And my high school is on another state championship run. I’ve also attended key matchups and attending a playoff game this weekend . Friday Night lites is still alive and well in Texas.

I’m a football fan first. And there is much more for me to consume my emotion and excitement into. I’ll have to put my Cowboys on hold for another season and watch the NFL from a distance . Which unfortunately has become more of the norm this era.

The lack of Cowboys success this era has driven me more into College and High School football . And it’s filling my football hunger.
The BEST way to view a Cowboy game is to DVR it, this way you're still going to get your fill of it and the BEST part is you can fast forward through 99% of the garbage time.

My Christmas wish is to be able to take continuous 3 hour dumps so I can watch our games from the commode.

I may be told to turn in my card but I'm starting to enjoy watching them lose.

The way I see it is i will always root for this team, but these days I don't have to pause my life for a team that is run by an idiot.

I usually have an attachment to some of the players. I don’t at all now. You could dump the lot and I’d not miss a single one.

Yup. Lee, Dez, Tyron, Murray, Frederick from a decade ago.

Triplets, Woody, Most of the offensive line lol, Moose, etc 20 years ago.

This team, no one really.

I have many friends who are Lions fans. I can't complain about my Cowboys in front of them.

I honestly don't understand how they have been able to remain so loyal having never been in a Super Bowl and only two NFC championship games in 55 years.

My Cowboys are in the top five in the NFL for Super Bowl championships, but I can barely stand watching this team play without screaming.

I guess once you've experienced your team being the best, you never want it to stop. I'll keep watching them out of respect for their past accomplishments. I don't ever want to feel like a fair-weather fan.
"Once we tasted and enjoyed good things, we feel the need to have them for ourselves and use them as our own. Most times we want to experience it again and feel the thrill of the excitement we felt when we first experienced it, it makes us yearn to experience the same thing more without fail."

They gotta get back to ground and pound football.

Dak is not a big game player. No matter how much money they pay him when the lights shine the brightest he will always be a deer in the headlights.

Getting a strong run game is our shortcut to success.

It can protect the defense and protect Prescott.
This is why I have no problem drafting the Boise St. RB in the 1st round.
