You know I gotta say, this game today for Tony Romo really makes me laugh. All of us heard it alllll offseason: "Without that go-to guy how will Romo get his passing game going??"

He goes out and throws for the most yardage he's ever thrown! So ironic!! :lmao2: I love when the haters get proven wrong!

And that's what they are---haters. What kind of person trashes the leader and quarterback of their own team-------------------especially a guy who has been outstanding.

I'd like to ask the T.O. defenders one thing: would this team have gone for 350 yards in the air with Owens in he line-up and Romo trying to force-feed him the ball? The same Owens who couldn't beat press coverage and hold onto the ball?

And he did it on a day where he was really off at times. It wasn't one of his better games and he still threw for 353yrds and 3 TD's....

This is what I love about the complaints (your post wasn't a complaint, so please don't think I'm directing this toward you) about Romo being off at times today.

When you throw 30 or so times, some throws are going to be off. And we're criticizing Romo that he put this or that throw on the back shoulder instead of the front shoulder, or that he overshot a deep throw by a yard, or that his completion to a running back didn't allow the RB to catch the ball instride.

And that's what qualifies as an off day (on, as you said, a day he has whopping numbers).

Contrast that to the off games we're seeing tonight between Cutler and Rodgers, where Rodgers has misfired on a handful of open deep throws and Cutler has been, well, pitiful.

A quarterback is allowed to not be perfect. None are. Let's cherish the performance Romo had today and hope he can play nearly as good next week.

Props to Romo for sure, but I'm just as encouraged that our top 3 receivers made plays out there. We've been expecting the running game to help the passing game. Well, it looks like the opposite might be true too.

On NFL Network, Deion was like, "Who's their #1 WR, huh? Who's their #1 WR?" Umm, Deion, I guess it's the guy with the most catches that day, or maybe the most yards. How about the most first downs? Or how about it doesn't freakin' matter if we get the win. 353 yards, 3 tds, does it matter if there is a "#1 WR". I love fantasy football, but I know the difference between fantasy and the NFL. And in the NFL, you don't need a "STUD" WR to win the Super Bowl. Just look at last year, Boldin and Fitzgerald were beaten by a Ward and Holmes. But with that being said, I was going crazy when Roy broke that long TD reception. I thought we lost the big play.....well, I just found it, three times!

Whats even funnier is he was off so bad for most of the day and someone he still had big production.

This offense is going to be tough to stop once we start clicking.

You hit the nail on the head there! The "not so good" recieving corp stepped it up and proved that TO wasn't the reason our offense was so powerful in previous years

The only thing that can stop this offense is the red head standing on the sidelines. I hope he doesn't break out the Tecmo Bowl game plans anymore.
