Been nice actually starting to see it, and we got 2 rooks running the edge, but doing a pretty impressive job with it.
This offense is built to play big, the down field blocking by the OL is already evident, and this running game is proving that.
Noah Brown is proving to catch as well as he can block,, just watch when Brown starts to feed off of blocks in the secondary on DBs, because Smith and Peters are already clearing out the LBs.
This Offense is built to play big ball, and thats what gets Lamb singled up outside where he can thrive.

Some of its out of necessity because we’ve had younger guys on oline and haven’t had Gallup or got what we expected out of Tolbert
But this team is much better when they run the ball and do play action
So I hope we keep seeing lots of it and more Zeke/Pollard together in the backfield
So many things that opens up

It seemed to me that we wanted to rely on the 12 more this year no matter what, but we didn't know if the tight ends could handle the blocking. Ferguson looks like he can not only handle it, but he can excel at it. Hendershot's a little more suspect, but he had some good blocks Monday. If these two guys and Schultz can step up to that challenge, I think we'll see a huge amount of 12 this year with Gallup and Lamb as the only receivers.

It should only get better as these kids get more experience. Ferguson plays with a bit of an attitude and is aggressive and effective as a blocker. I can’t wait to see Peters as the LG full-time either. Peters and Smith are going to be Road graders!

Ferguson is a solid blocker
Even lamb was blocking really well and he’s a little guy
Blocking isn’t about blowing guys up
Just keep them out of the play
The 12 is perfect for this team because we need to run the ball and setup play action

What's nice is that our defense can hold us down while we get our young guys wet behind the ears experience.

This team will only get better. They are young. That's what I like about them. Young and competitive.

Tank freaking has 3 sacks, because he's competing with Parsons.

Yep. Big fan of us running 12 personnel myself.

Did you see Turpin blocking...all 170 pounds of him?

I remember 2 specific plays where he was blocking at the point of attack. A run right by Pollard for a 1st down and quick screen to CeeDee on the left.

On the run right Turpin stood up X. McKinney, the Strong Safety. Noah Brown blocked the DE on that play.

WR blocking is an integral part of the Rams offense...Now the Cowboys are doing more of it.

Like a little dog, they always feel they are bigger than what they truly are but never back down.

12 and 13 personnel is what they used in the past. During the streak last year we used it a lot. After Jarwin and Dak got hurt they stopped using it. And never went back to it after Dak came back. It was a huge mistake. 12 personnel protects the QB and let’s us run the ball.

It fits this offense and what we are trying to do now, so as long as something is working keep doing it until it doesn't work.

Some success against weak competition, but its looking positive so far.

Successfully running the football, will force teams to stop playing coverage against Dak, which will open the passing game.

funny to listen to these Dak trolls. How many times have we told them how important it is to run the ball and when we cant it hurts Dak's ability to do his job. "Excuses" is the response. LOL

Yet here they are touting the running game as being the big difference. Hilarious to watch them flip flop all over the place.
