I need to edit this and say and I truly believe this.. that if Dak can start being basic Dak, his true self, than he can improve his game.
Dak needs to get over thinking that because he is paid like the elite that he can play that game, or even include himself in that group.
I don't care what Dak makes on pay day, but he needs to revisit when he was actually playing his game, and honestly I don't think he ever can at this point, but that's just my opinion.
Bro.. I wonder if he needs to ignore the media. He has been through so much. The 2016 season was one of the best rookie seasons of any QB ever. Except brady. Ok brady is the goat and he was being compared by some. He is not brady..

If JJ wanted a deal he could have signed him way earlier and got him cheaper than wentz. He was expected to up his game every year. 2017 wasn’t his best year so no payday. Then when he does come out playing well still no deal. I think Daks agent pulled out of a hand shake deal. Wrong move by his agent. The whole time I think he pays to much attention to the media. He says the right things like it don’t bother him but I wonder. His best years are not trying to be something he is not. He can take the team down for a game winning drive. But he needs to take what’s given more often than trying to push it down field.

The OL has improved, and it doesnt have to always be so polarizing, so extreme one or the other.
This OL keeps playing at this level and even Dak can have success.

Not 'even' but 'only'. It's his only path to success.

When was the last time Dak had a great running game and when was the last time he had tons of time to sit back and survey the field.

This is all hilarious. Rush looked like a lost puppy against the Bucs getting sacked twice.
Lol. I am a fan of Daks. He has had time in the pocket before and threw ducks. So has brady. Rush threw 2 passes that Brown made a great adjustment to catch. Was off. Rush is getting the ball out. Maybe the giants defense stinks. Don’t know, what I am saying is when Moore calls the same game using the run and Dak gets the ball out and don’t look for the long ball on some of these plays then Dak looks amazing. He spreads it around and in the second half or 4th quarter the bigger passes and plays come natural for him. One thing I do like about both QBs is if they get the matchup and the look they take the shot. Seen Dak when he is on his game hit Lamb on the bomb in the first quarter. But sometimes he looks for it when it’s not going to be there..

For Daks sake and to all the Dak lovers out there, best that Dak chooses wisely when he returns.
IDC where any fans loyalty lies with players, as long as the equation is right, and this team is finding out how to win every week than that is what matters the most.
Dak will be back, and I hope for his sake that the locker room embraces him upon his return.
Fans can cheer all they want for whoever they want, but it's the team chemistry that brings home Lombardi's.

This offenses calling card at the moment is playing big, and we have some talent that usually goes wasted actually getting to prove themselves.
12P is a very difficult objective, you have to have the right TEs to do it, and even Parcells could never obtain the talent, Fasano was never going to be enough.
Sometimes as a fan base we really overlook the young playmakers on a roster, this season I believe we are forced into recognizing early who they are.
Hendershot and Fergie is doing it. Shultz is good also. Now with Peters playing some LG. We have big. I didn’t realize how large Peters was.

Team over player. Whomever offers the best opportunity for success. I've seen the peak performance of one and know the end results.
Not sure the current hot hand has any reason to be pulled myself.

But I'm the sort that can enjoy ugly wins without stats vice losses with fantasy football numbers that so many of this team's so called fans here prefer.

Lombardis to them, as with Jerry, are secondary.

Bunch of sheep.

Guarantee you that there is a feeling in the locker room as we speak today, and its growing, and that is a team chemistry that while
Its early 2-1
He just needs to get the ball out. Seems Rush has been doing that. Rush has gotten away with a few nice catches on some balls thrown off target. It’s all good Dak does it to. But that deep shot to Lamb was dead on. After Lamb dropped that and smiled when running back made me sick. Till he totally made up for it. Lamb has said before if it’s a easy catch and he thinks about catching it then it’s trouble for him. If he don’t think about it then he is good. That’s one hander for the TD was sweet.
All Rush needed to do to was yell that smile off of CDs face, just own it Rush.
Kidding a bit this evening, but would that have ever sent a shiver down the spine.

Yeah, that's of the culture changing variety you describe.
Now that would have been a team paradigm shift for sure, lol.
I'll take these baby steps for now.

As I already know there won't be a Dak meritocracy speech giving up his spot at a press conference this time.
Unfortunately.

To Die on Prescott Hill, the story of the 2022 Cowboys. I've seen the ending already to this re-run but will enjoy the entertainment value as the season plays itself out regardless.

UNLESS the dee reaches an 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens level of dominance...
Then, Rayne could ride their coat tails.

Other than that, not optimistic when Dak is given the job back.

Thats the situation at hand described in vivid detail.
If Dak wants to own this house than own it, don't need fragile egos getting in the way of just winning some games and picking up where Coop left off.
That is the scenario that is going to play out here Cowboys Nation.
When Dak returns, he will be under everyones microscope, but Daks only chance of survival is to prove all the doubters wrong, it has to be in his mind his game if he wants to succeed.
I dont believe in Dak to lead this team very far, Coop about the same but at least we glimpsed a spark with Rush,, Im hanging on to it and riding it out, but that is not how this is going to be playing out.
Rush can win out and Dak will be back.

funny to listen to these Dak trolls. How many times have we told them how important it is to run the ball and when we cant it hurts Dak's ability to do his job. "Excuses" is the response. LOL

Yet here they are touting the running game as being the big difference. Hilarious to watch them flip flop all over the place.
Who is flopping

Schultz

Ferguson
Could be in no specific order.
Throw in some big Noah Brown this package has some weight.

Been nice actually starting to see it, and we got 2 rooks running the edge, but doing a pretty impressive job with it.
This offense is built to play big, the down field blocking by the OL is already evident, and this running game is proving that.
Noah Brown is proving to catch as well as he can block,, just watch when Brown starts to feed off of blocks in the secondary on DBs, because Smith and Peters are already clearing out the LBs.
This Offense is built to play big ball, and thats what gets Lamb singled up outside where he can thrive.
Yes sir. Being successful running the ball opens up the playbook. Making the defense also play with big boys creates opportunities for mismatches in coverage.

It should only get better as these kids get more experience. Ferguson plays with a bit of an attitude and is aggressive and effective as a blocker. I can’t wait to see Peters as the LG full-time either. Peters and Smith are going to be Road graders!
We just got a very small sample size of what Peters can do lined up next to Smith.
Peters influence will not be solely Smiths direction, Biadasz will benefit as well, like a 1-piece addition that fits.
This OL will start entering bulldozer mode soon.

I am already looking forward to the moments we feel its advantageous to activate a Davis or Ollison.
But Im just greedy that way. :D
