Being a Cowboys fan went a really long way for me...

So I called direct tv to activate my sunday ticket... long story short started shooting the **** with the guy on the phone... he then goes " what are you a cowboys fan or something??" I was like " fan??? man, I eat, sleep, breathe dallas cowboys!!"".... Well come to find out the guy turned out to be a big cowboys fan aswell and gave me my sunday package for $139 ( $200 off) and than goes " imma look out even more for you, imma cut your bill from $102 a month to $52 a month" haha man i love being a cowboys fan!!!

The discount I rcvd was $20 off my monthly payments which knock them down to $33 dollars a month for the 6 months of Sunday Ticket.

I'm glad I don't need it cuz here in Memphis Boys games are on every Sunday so no need for the package unless we start losing like last year then I'd have to get it lol.

LOL, I got it for $140 (4 $40 dollar payments) but had to speak to cancelation to get it.

yeah, according to the guy I talked to on Sunday, Thursday was the last day the NFL was offering discounts for Sunday Ticket (I guess the NFL picked up the difference), so to get anything now you have to be willing to cancel.

To me, and it's different for everybody, I see no benifit of having Direct TV w/o Sunday Ticket, so I could legitamitaley say I may as well cancel and go w/ FIOS just to save $$$ because my phone and internet is through them.

Once I got transferred to cancelations, I told him what was up and he offered that immediately.

Same thing happened to me I called a few times and happened to get in touch with a rep who is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and she works for a boss that's is supposedly a completely obnoxious Steelers fan (is there any other kind?) My love for the Cowboys and our common enemy got me Sunday ticket for $120 which includes free Sunday Ticket to go and she even sent me a new HD DVR to replace my SD DVR free the next day and still kept me out of contract. She also reduced my regular bill on my other services to it's lowest price in at least ten years. Saved me a bundle.

Just keep calling until you can get in touch with a die hard Cowboys rep.:laugh2:
