I don't get the notion why someone isn't a true fan if they root for more than one team? Ever since I first started watching sport, I have always been a fan of two teams whether its Clippers/Lakers, Dodgers/Angels, or Chargers/Rams. Two teams is the cutoff point for me. I may root for my hometown and college team but I am not a fan of those team if that make sense.

I support both teams, I buy jerseys/merchandise, go to the game, and generally do what fan of one team normally do. I think its better to have two teams to root for because of the jersey, the players, and more games to go to. Am I wrong? This sure spark controversy among fans of said team toward me. I was really hoping for an LA Bowl but Tom Brady had to eliminate my dream scenario. Hopefully Goff has my back next week.

If the two teams you are a "fan" of play each other, who do you want to win? You are a fan of that team. If you don't care who wins, you're not a fan.

No offense but it is why LA fans have that bandwagon reputation.

When one team is doing bad, they hop off and root for the othet team. Personally I believe you have to be there for the lows to really enjoy the highs. Maybe its just me.

It's wrong to be a fan of multiple teams and then claim to be anything more than a casual fan at best.
At best.

How old are you? 12 maybe? You can’t root for 2 teams. It’s a man law. If you do you’re just a casual fan who really doesn’t give a **** about football or any sport. Might as well root for all of them then. Jeez, is this what society is coming to?

But that is not the case with me, I been a fan of the Chargers for 21 years and the Chargers have been bad for a very long time. And let not even talk about the Clippers organization. I don't care how bad a team is, if I choose that team, I'm a fan for life.

I'm not a casual fan though. I'm with the two teams for life. I don't care if they suck or have 4 - 12 seasons or whatnot, I'm a fan for life. And Man law is a man made law, not a universal rule. You are fans of multiple sports are you not, who to say you can only be a football fan and not a fan of any other sports? Same concepts applies.

Being a man is about thinking outside of the box and reinventing the wheels.

Then that is who you are a fan of. The other team is just one you like when 1a is not an option.

And that is wrong because? Maybe I support the other team less but I still support the other team regardless. I still go to rally, I still go to games, and etc....

Spin it anyway you like the bottom line is you’re not a fan of any team. Just whatever suits you at the time. Shallow and you will quit on either at the first sign of trouble.

Except I been with the Chargers for 21 years and they suck literally so no you are wrong.

I am a huge Texas Longhorn and TCU fan. I hated it when TCU came into the Big 12.
As far as the NFL. I loved the Houston Oilers but didn't root for them against the Cowboys.
What's funny is I can't stand the Houston Texans.
