Being positive vs negative all the time

To some extent it is. To put in a few prompts of what you want to articulate and get near instantaneously a message that meets your intent and is comprehensive is highly efficient. Even if v you have to add supplemental prompts to correct/ fine-tune it is worth the time saved in having to formulate and write the whole thing from scratch (not to mention grammaticallycorrect). And if your concerned with reading as AI, there are prompts to solve for that as well.
Society was already on the decline as far as being able to communicate effectively. Literacy, grammar, reading comprehension were all in steep decline. This will make it worse. A lot worse.

"Me disagree with Rocky, write why Rocky wrong"

Beep boop rrrrrrr beeeep:

I disagree with this because it creates a false choice between being positive and being negative. You can be realistic without being miserable.

Being critical of the Cowboys isn't "pre-pain"—it's a response to nearly three decades of results. Fans have watched talented rosters fall short year after year, so skepticism isn't irrational; it's evidence-based.

Hope doesn't require ignoring history. In fact, expecting the organization to prove it can consistently succeed before buying in is a reasonable standard. Blind optimism can be just as unhealthy as constant negativity because it can lead to lowering expectations and accepting mediocrity.

You also assume negative fans don't enjoy wins, but many do. In fact, when expectations are low, victories can be even sweeter because they're earned rather than assumed. Likewise, optimistic fans often experience greater disappointment when the team inevitably falls short of lofty expectations.

Finally, being a fan doesn't mean you owe the team unwavering positivity. Fans invest their time, money, and emotions into the Cowboys. They've earned the right to criticize an organization that hasn't reached an NFC Championship Game in decades. Holding the team accountable isn't bitterness—it's wanting the franchise to meet the standard it has set for itself.

Optimism has its place, but so does healthy skepticism. Neither mindset makes someone a better or worse fan.

Nice...

On paper, this team is on the rise...sadly, the game is played on turf/grass/fake grass, though. One can be positive on how things look, but one can also want to wait to see the final product....
I believe this team wins 12 games and makes the playoffs, this offense with be top 5 and the new defense should be in the top 12 or so. Dallas should win the NFC East , can't wait to watch the improvement of this defense.

12 is pushing it to me; the schedule is not an easy one. As for the East? I think it's up in the air. The Iggles will either implode further or go back to dominance. If the implosion continues, there is no reason we can't win the East

Just the East? Nah, bro. I have had an awakening, I feel positive, and happy and all good things. If the Coach and Jerry say the team is going to win the SB this year, I'm all in. The Dallas Cowboys will win the SB this season. Why are you lowering your standards?

Cowboys on three, 1...2...oh nevermind, I guess we will see.

All depends on Filthy...I don't see WSH or NYG competing, and Harbaugh gives me a rash. The Iggles story is intriguing as to how bad it can get...otherwise, it's wait and see like the last 30 years unfortunately

Nah you don’t get it bro….Philly doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as the cowboys. Anyone who doesn’t think the cowboys are about to go 17-0 should be benched.

The disrespect you put on the Dallas cowboys in that post should be reported….not just to the mods but to the police. I mean what kind of message does that cowboy hate send to the kids?

The only concern I have about the 2026 cowboys is how they move on from excellent players like Kenneth Murray…. But at least I can sleep well knowing we have two future all pros in winters and Overshown out there.

Who predicted 17-0?

Most people yes. But you and many others not so much and you blame it on the past and Jerry and Dak and Romo, etc. etc. and you let it make you bitter. Your post is just yourself trying to make yourself feel better. THe OP is the facts of life whether you agree with it or not.
No I'm sorry The facts of Life are we've been played by an owner who put generational wealth before winning a Super bowl.

That is the true facts.
Did not realize his limitations and hire the best to do all the jobs.

He compromised winning to work with his family.
His team he can do what he wants but it doesn't give anybody a positive feeling.

When he stops talking about going all in and really does it then people will have a positive outlook until then the little scraps he throws us keep a hopeless atmosphere alive.

I remember this team when everyone was all in and I will recognize it if I'm lucky enough to see it again.
You have gotten so used to seeing this half-assed effort that Jerry has put out for so long that you somehow try to put a positive spin on it.

This year definitely more of an effort being made so I feel much more positive but that effort needs to be made every year

Again, complaining about it ALL the time is not going to change anything. Just makes you more bitter. Just listen to the haters here on a daily basis. They hardly ever, if ever, say anything positive. It’s all negativity and they’re bitter.

Hey Rocky I'm not bitter I just accept the facts.

And I am thankful to have been able to see the Dallas Cowboys at their absolute best.

Jerry has flat out admitted that his life's dream was to work with his family.
His family are not the best people to build a Super bowl winning football team.

I have accepted this and lowered my expectations does it make me happy not really but it is what it is and he is a billionaire owner who can do what he wants none of us have the power to change it there is no vote we can cast that can fix this problem.

Jerry has to want to win a Super bowl bad enough to hire all the best people for every position from coaches to scouting to The waterboy and it's not in his blood to do that.

We are an unprepared franchise to compete for a Super bowl.

We are prepared just about enough to stay relevant and make the playoffs and that's how Jerry likes it and if it makes you feel positive that's fine.

There are people on here that know there is more than that and if it makes them negative well that's their right just like it's Jerry's right to work with his family a substandard group of football people

Not Cowboys fans. Being “realistic” is just your excuse for always being miserable. And dude, you’re always miserable.
