I think there's more to this than just Bill being strange.

He is still giving the scouts full access to films and reports that other teams get. Just barring them from the facility.

I mean, if Kraft specifically barred him from the Patriots facility, that would be petty as well. Perhaps it is just tit for tat. Also, I think there was a discussion and gentleman's agreement about how his departure would be handled and the Kraft's violated it. (There is some evidence discussed on this from Pats Pulpit.)

All that said, of course he could have just taken the high road and not done anything to retaliate. Perhaps a better move tactically and ethically.

I'd actually be more worried about that expanding belly of his. It takes discipline, but if you stop drinking and start eating massive salads, weight loss can be rapid and beneficial. Massive improvements in pre-diabetes, lower pulse, etc.

Slow and measured addition of exercise also (start with walking, consider swimming/biking as lower impact than running). Bill used to be a semipro level hockey player, so I would consider distance ice skating (or roller blading) also. Amazingly fun activity (a lot like cycling) in that you get a higher speed and that feeling of glide.

Per a news article local, exactly the issue.

Apparently Bill is no longer welcome at the club in Mass, so no one from NE is welcome in NC.
