Sorry, forgot about them. My problem is I've been a damn yankee for over 20 years here now, but I live on the west side of the state. Have hit a couple of Wake games though with the scouts.

Thing that really amazed me is how people get into college basketball in NC over college football. When I first moved down here, dated a girl who graduated from Duke. Her whole family were Blue Devil fanatics with basketball.

I think UNC hired BB for the news notoriety, and now they're getting it, not just the way they planned it. NC just doesn't seem like they will ever be a football powerhouse.

Surprised me as well how many Commanders fans are in NC who aren't yankees, but when it comes to baseball, seems to be the Braves.

NC is more known for college Basketball and baseball anyway.

NBA….Jordan…possibly greatest basketball player….and so many more

Soccer…maybe most famous women’s player in Mia Hamm….4 NCAA titles , Olympic camp captain , etc
