i liked the pick-up of waters if he stays healthy

thing is, we picked up waters so you are telling us what a great pick up he is for the OL

if we hadnt picked him up, you would be telling us we dont need an OG who hasnt played in a year and missed TC and "we could be done on the OL for a long time"

some of us can be objective, others cant
You are one of the most predictable posters on this forum, so the fact that you would consider yourself "objective" is laughable.

I cannot believe people are still posting about Floyd, we suddenly have a respectable line, and you want to sacrifice it for an injured DT without a pass rush? Think before you post people!

Thank You, Dallas made the right decision and drafted Fredrick.

i call it like i see it and am not a schill

care to tell us why signing waters was such a good thing when just a couple of days back you posted that "we could be done on the OL for a long time" ?

i dont think any of smith/leary/fred/free/parnell are expected to miss the game and greats like costa/bernie/arkin are slated to be back-ups

you know, the OL you thought was the best thing since sliced bread

What I said was, if the lineup worked out, they could stick for a while due to their ages. A lot of qualifiers in that statement, so I'm sorry you have a difficulty with comprehending such distinctions.

I like the Fredrick pick. He and Smith are about the same age and will be building blocks of the line and future leaders.

No, the fact that you condescend and demean people on an internet forum because they don't agree with you speaks volumes of your character and who you are as a human being. Good day to you.

No he has a huge brain okay, can't you tell.

Sorry...what was the subject....sucks BB is out was looking forward to seeing him as a Rushman in Monte' Kiffens D.

Really did you just go there.......lol. just how many yards rushing did the cowboys have last year...............worst in. Franchise history. Yet. They went out and picked up a OLmen off the streets. Who has not played in a year...........Really

Yes I did go there "lol", becasue your statemtent, as written, was incorrect. All you said was we ignored it. I merely gave proof to the contrary. You're right in asserting that most of the additions weren't good ones, but the quality of their play wasn't part of the argument. We have addressed both lines many times recently. I am with you in the sense that I wish the acquistions were more high draft picks, and FA's that were actually, you know, good players. But to ignore something means to not make any changes, and we've made plenty. And just throwing big money or high draft picks at the problem isn't a guarantee of improvment.

Same. I had actually hoped we'd look at David Bass, who just signed to the Bears practice squad. He was a late round guy I liked in the draft and while Ben might be more of a strongside guy, David is more of a pass rusher, weakside guy that can probably step in on the strongside during nickel situations.

I also wanted to take a look at Marvin Austin, who's working out for the Seahawks and will probably be signed by them in short order.

David Bass would be a good pick up. He is a more natural 4-3 DE than Kyle Wilber.

Any idea what the SEA did with all those DTs they had in camp, anyway? I remember them collecting them like pokemon cards to start the season. At one point they had a dozen or so on their roster. I meant to pay attention in cut downs, but then got distracted with all of our trades going down.

Not the foggiest. They kept 10 DL on their 53, probably because of all their injuries, so I doubt they cut anyone of much quality.
